The lengthy hiatuses meant the story lost momentum, but they had to have several months between Sonia's arrest and trial so there was always going to be a big time lag. It's really odd they haven't had Sonia at least starting to suspect Reiss. But the worst thing is Reiss imprisoning Bianca, I just don't want to watch that. At least we know it's nearly over!

Perhaps subconsciously she knows it must be Reiss but she is in deep denial because the reality is just too horrendous to deal with. She must surely think “logically, who else could it have been?”

I cannot watch any of the Bianca and Reiss scenes either, I find it too distressing. Especially when thinking of random practical things like she hasn’t showered for 2 months and how she copes when it’s her time of the month😫

Yes I agree re the practicalities. That type of captivity is far worse than formal imprisonment. On top of the fact her jailer is a batshit murderer.

Soap characters don't need to use the toilet! I've also noticed that soap babies don't have umbilical cords...

All I keep seeing is the job lot of toilet rolls in the lock up.
Sure Reiss would recoil from the smell every time he opened the door 🤢

Ian is now out of the picture as they made it too obvious in today’s episode that it could be him.

Reiss conveniently already had a chain, hoop and padlock in his dungeon. So what on earth has gone on before. B ending up there was not planned that much in advance.

Could Ian be playing a long revenge game on Cindy? The person who threw the brick (to terrify her further) may not necessarily be the person who attacked her. He is up to something for sure, and I don't reckon he secretly wants her back. He has a very nasty, vindictive streak to him so this is plausible. He could be plotting to pretend to her that she can talk him round, with the aim of feeding her fears and making her dependent on him and then pulling the rug from under her feet in a humiliating way after she gets her hopes up of wrapping him round her little finger again?

The same thing crossed my mind last week - he had a convenient length chain and manacle. Why??

Reiss's lock up is dodgy :(

My guess is that Ian will slowly isolate Cindy from everyone ' don't worry dear , I'll do it all '
She'll become dependant on him
Then he'll ditch her !

I still can’t picture a man hitting Cindy with a shovel from behind. I don’t think it’s something a bloke would do?! But of the female suspects I’m not sure, I’m leaning towards Elaine. Or my first guess as EE loves violent children - Louie!

But he knows who it is and is trying to protect them.

So it's either Kathy or Peter.

I'll leave it to your imagination about what Sonia gets up to with him down the lock up.

It's a good point about him having all that stuff. It's either a huge plot hole or we are going to find out he's a serial kidnapper. I suspect the former but the latter would be fun

By fun I mean a good storyline not being a kidnapper

I think it's just things from his house he had with Debbie. The chain and hand cuffs is a mystery though !

There is really no answer which would be anything other than horrifying!
