I'm a huge fan of Marc Almond, he still tours every year and I go to every gig I can. He is amazing live and you never know what you are going to get.
I think a lot of people go expecting to hear rehash of Soft Cell but he has a very varied musical career so it's always a new experience. But to hear Say Hello Wave Goodbye being belted out by a packed Birmingham Symphony Hall is something special. He's also very funny and chatty with the audience

I'll have to see if he comes up north? He always comes across as very genuine.

Have you listened to the set by Jalen Ngonda? I saw him play in Birmingham last year in a small venue, and his voice is so lovely!
