Car chase ended up in the Chicago river. V frightening as they began to sink... but obviously got there in the end.

Carrie was awarded custody of her son. Carter's relationship clearly in trouble. Abbie now "Dr Lockhart".

Chen & Pratt's car ended up in the Chicago River after being shot at by some road rage loony. Both pulled from water and survived, although Pratt thought he was ok and wanted to go on shift but ended up having some kind of head injury that Corday fixed.The fat guy Elgin died (he was in the car with them). Abby started work as a Dr and the English girl sutured Pratt but is not sure if she still wants to be a Dr. Weaver's dead partners parents have agreed to her having custody of Henry and they will look after him while she is working.....HTH

Thank you. I was suspecting the death of Elgin as he was not with Chen and Pratt in the hospital, but was wondering if Pratt had ended up with a more "permanent" problem. Thanks

Yes it was, felt sooooo sorry for Carter.

My SIL still has the ashes of her dd (died at 17 days) and cannot bring herself to scatter them. Ds is 11 weeks and I lost it watching ER so really don't know how I (or any of us) will manage when that day comes .

I was crying with that too... I don't know if I would be able to survive loosing a son.

I missed the last series - how did Carter's son die?

Kem (sp?) hadn't felt the baby moving for a while and so had a scan which showed that he had died.
