Is it me or is this fucking ridiculous, no spoilers, I'm only in the first episode but did you persevere?

I finished it but I don’t understand why Sam is so protective & caring to Helen, or why even Wallace put up with her shit.

Honesty this is a complete pile of shit! Is it a sit com? The least likely hit men and spies on the planet, partners that seem oblivious when they say they are going out for the fifth time that evening, the list goes on really! DH and I are watching it so we can mercilessly take the piss and that's all!
