Really? That will be interesting.

Doesn't seem to be confirmed yet, but it's said that it will be announced next week.

I’m going to stick my head up and say that I don’t think she is the right choice.

They need more of a ‘Everyman’. They need someone who will ask questions and for explanations of technical terms.

also I find her annoying but I think I might be alone with that.

I'd rather they had Susie Dent. They'd need to find another critic if she took on the role.

I love Grace so I’d be happy with her in the role.

Grace Dent made a documentary about Greggs The Baker. It was repeated recently on Channel 5 and, based on that, I think she will make a great replacement.

I live Grace but I think I'd rather have her on as a guest critic and rather have someone else asking the inane questions of does orange actually go with choclit etc

I love Grace but if it's true I'm not sure it's the right choice. One thing I will grudgingly admit is that Gregg brought a bit of 'oompf' to the role which is needed alongside JT. It needs a bigger personality not necessarily a food expert imho.

It's maybe a one-off one-series thing? Maybe filming was due to start, Grace knows the ropes, is popular with many, and was available? And is female.

I was keeping my fingers crossed for Si King but I guess it's obvious why they'd prefer a woman.
Grace comes across well.
I wonder what Jonty thinks of the change - my suspicion is he won't like not being as the authority on food as he was when paired with Gregg.

Love Grace, so happy with that. Celeb version is the only one announced so far. Maybe different people for all 3 versions?
