I’m about 15 minutes behind today as DH wouldn’t stop talking.

What really annoys me is that so many men just take a dish that women have been making for generations for their families, ponce about with it and charge a fortune from it.

My dad was a Yorkshire man through and through so goosgogs and rhubarb ran through his veins. I have not inherited those genes.

When I was a kid we had a red gooseberry bush in the garden that produced the most luscious, huge, delicious fruit. Then my parents sold a strip off the bottom of the garden to a local builder who’d been begging them for it for years, to let him build a house there, and the gooseberry was in the bit they lost 😢
