total option for master chef to have a new lease of life with new presenters. Ideally without Torode, who may not be a misogynist but I don’t think is a nice person either

So they are keeping the Professionals on to the end but cancelling the christmas specials it seems

Glad GW has gone, never liked him there was always a sleazy quality. I hope MC does endure, it’s bloody brilliant and I am sure many of us watched it despite GW, certainly not because of him. Maybe a rolling group of new fresh presenters doing a few shows each would be good, get some new talent in.

These shows become more about the judges than the actual show or the contestants sometimes!

I stopped watching normal Masterchef a few years ago, never liked celebrity masterchef. I do like Masterchef the Professionals though.

I can take or leave Wallace. I have a soft spot for Marcus Wareing (and Michel Roux jnr before him), he has the most mesmerising eyes. They need someone who isn't a chef to even it out a little.

But this is the BBC so they'll probably get Lisa Faulkner in to take his place.

I never really understood why they employed Wallace anyway, let alone moved him on to hosting different programmes. I've never ever come across anyone who said they liked him, or that they wanted to watch a new series because he was on it.

i like him. but wasn't the point of GW to have a non chef as a presenter.

I love Grace Dent. But we need an “Everyman” character to replace Gregg.

They need to look at Gary from the 'Gary Eats' restaurant review YouTube channel. He is fabulous , fair, kind, funny, and a natural presenter.
