I won't miss Jamie. I don't know why but I just didn't warm to him. I think he seemed a bit like a kid, but not in a good way.
I really feel for Montell. Johannes looked so sad for her. Their QS was a joy.
Chris was as good as someone who's a non-dancer and blind could be in a paso, I think. I quite liked it.
I like Pete but I do feel aggrieved that he's still here and Punam and Sam, who were in the same bracket as non-dancers who were slowly improving, were booted out so much sooner. I think they were both better than him too.
Tasha's AS was more like a showy, commercial contempowaft. I want Hollywood glamour from an AS.
Sarah's rumba was, as Craig said, lacking connection. It also lacked earthiness IMO; it was very showy and flicky.
JB was good, nice style of Charleston. Lauren's wig was a crime. Beautiful as she is, I just got 'Victoria Wood character'. Her own actual hair is very '20s but they just seem terrified of a woman with the nape of her neck visible.
I missed the intro to the pro dance with he wheelchair user; were the guests from an inclusive dance company? or a range of companies? There seemed to be many different dance styles. The guy dancing with Nikita
wow – he moved like a rubber band.
Next week: I think Chris and Dianne will put in a quickstep for the ages.
Looking forward to JB and Lauren too, and Pete and Jowita (although he doesn't know what West Side Story is
)
Montell has been royally stitched up.
Sarah and Vito: I'm never sure if the whole world/voting audience really does love Wicked and will throw votes at anything that invokes it, or if the Strictly producers just think so. I don't think a Charleston will suit her; she's too prim.
Tasha and Aljaz will do well but boy am I tired of her.
