I've always wondered what they do with all those fabulous ingredients that don't t get selected by the chefs

That and a salad (trying to recreate a salad I got in tesco years ago) are the only 2 times I've ever done beetroot

I am firmly against beetroot in dessert. Vegetables do not belong in pudding, not even carrots. I will not be moved.

I do like home-made pickled beetroots, but every other kind I’ve tried has been meh.

It’s the scary poo the day after eating lots of beetroot that gets me.

I do always get a bit of a fright when I use the bathroom after the children. (They apparently are dead set against flushing, the little pests.)

The mother-in-law grew too much beetroot one year. We tried it pickled, roasted, boiled & mashed, but I liked it best on the compost heap.

I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed with beetroot as the main ingredient to be honest.
