The Ixperts are popping up left right and centre and ixplaining it all to us.

Reiki Red and Nate are such a mismatch. They're giving mother and son vibes. There seems to be much more than 7 years between them. And her giggling is awful! 😬

English guy and the cute brunette are cute. I bet he thinks all of his Christmases have come at once. She's a doll!

It’s a snooze fest in general, not a patch on the lunacy of the UK one. But still manages to feel exploitative. A lot of these people are so vulnerable.

Without this thread I would have bailed.

I wonder that too. Can't look at the moment as we have it on a 2 minute delay, and it will switch it off!

Actually I think it's 15 episodes over 3 weeks, so Mon-Fri makes sense.

It's not super exciting, (yet) but there is naff all else on! 😬

Yes, I only decided to go for it in the end because it's only 15 episodes. I couldn't cope with another long run.

Mon to Fri makes it feel like a job!
But happy to look at exotic beaches and scenery for another two weeks when it's this cold.

Yeah me neither. With the way it's going, 15 episodes/3 weeks will be enough. I don't think I could stomach 6 to 8 weeks/35 or so episodes.

I need to save my energy for the next MAFSAUS.

I think 15 episodes will be plenty. It's a bit dull but like pp said gorgeous scenery and an easy watch so far.

I don't know if it is exploitative I think they just tease out stuff to make it look that way.

I only started watching MAFS recently, the UK was quite dull early on I thought, but then it all kicked off big time. I don't think I'll ever forget that terrorised bumhole...

This is more sedate- but is everyone in NZ into alternative spirituality or being 'laid back'? The men in particular seem quite different to me than the UK men, although given several of them were abusive, that might be a good thing. I'm just puzzled what type of men these are and if they are typical NZ men. Weeing in public in front of your bride to be though is so gross, are they not trying to impress either?

I think it might be 14 episodes. M-F this week and next then M-Th.

It will get better when there's a dinner party and commitment ceremony. So far it's just been the individual couples and how they get on.

I think the NZ production team are trying to be more educational with their pop up sound bites. The one talking about rejection made me laugh tho, with regards Curtain and Cara. No idea how these two will pan out, but there's no thought or comment to people listening to their intuition.
There's a certain level of ick there is no comeback from.
