This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Funny how Cora and Isabel thought they were about to be praised and it turned out to be Edith. Well done for doing something kind for once.

Mrs Patmore accepts William's proposal of marriage on Daisy's behalf!

"Go on, then!" poor Daisy a hesitant and slightly reluctant acceptance with Mrs Patmore's wooden spoon prodding her in the small of her back.

Mary has to the good grace to keep Lavinia's secret. I think she can't bring herself to get involved in these schemes to discredit Lavinia because she knows it would lower her in Matthew's eyes...and she's right he wouldn't thank her for it.

Oh Matthew will.kerp an eye on William and poor Lang just can't even bear to see these officers without panicking

It's almost as if Mrs Patmore is trying to soothe her heartache over he nephew by making William and Daisy into a fairytale that they are not.

Oh Carson is being understanding over Mr Lang

Well I definitely didn't see that episode first time round. I have a feeling I missed quite a few of the wartime ones.

I enjoyed the animosity between Cora and Isabel. It really made me laugh.

Same time next week?

So, Matthew and William go off to war together, both engaged, the house has been invaded by recuperating soldiers and Isabel's bossy streak has gone into overdrive. Let's see what episode 4 may bring us next week.
