This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Mary doesn't want Matthew (yet) but neither does she want Sybil to have him! She doesn't want Sir Anthony but resents him paying attention to Edith.

Carson has so much respect and deference for the Crawleys especially Lady Mary.

Lots of drama and kissing or near kissing this episode.

Oh Anna and Bates always get thwarted in romantic moments. Anna is such a faithful soul.

Oh yes, Mary did thank Matthew properly!

She tells her mother about the proposal.

"I hope you thanked Matthew properly!!"

Remember how much we wanted kissing in OG1??

Cora is probably desperate right now for Mary to say yes and knock all the rumours on the head. Ahhh...Mary does love Matthew.

Yes it was very slim pickings on that front!

Lady Mary has her kinder moments too it seems

Nice Mary is on show. When she's happy she's always very very nice and thoughtful but when she's not she's horrid.

Violet has decided to admire Cora's fortitude and support for Mary in her hour of need. Bless her, she has done her best to scotch the rumours too.
