'Are you able, when you touch that piece of meat, to translate to me what it is you're feeling?'

Gregg's sex talk has got no better.

🤣🤢

Yes I wondered where he was going with that.

fourquenelles · 18/11/2024 21:24

@EsmaCannonball soft but firm and a little pink <boak>

EsmaCannonball · 18/11/2024 21:25

How on earth could you possibly do this in 20 minutes with no foreknowledge or preparation?

TheDowagerCountessofPembroke · 18/11/2024 21:25

My great nan was head cook at M&S, did she teach me how to cook, did she buggery. Mainly because she was dead.

This isn't going well

Halsall · 18/11/2024 21:26

There's something a bit Thomasina Miers about the way she looks and speaks. Not the way she cooks though, sadly.

You can't. A bit like Bake Off I think it's designed to put them under time pressure so that they make mistakes. Which is a shame.

Blueberrycreampie · 18/11/2024 21:26

Where's the puree?

Theeyeballsinthesky · 18/11/2024 21:26

Burnt leeks and unrested lamb

It’s the gap in the front teeth.

It would be more fair if they told them what they wanted and then gave them 5 minutes planning time.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 18/11/2024 21:27

Skills test counts for nowt though when it comes to decision making

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 18/11/2024 21:28

I can't believe it was 19 years ago that she won Masterchef. How can that be nearly 20 years ago?

Exactly. If they really have zero idea what they’re being asked to do, 20 minutes is no time at all, and it must zip past in a kind of nightmarish blur.

So true - it should form 30% of the "marks" I think

EsmaCannonball · 18/11/2024 21:29

You mean the UK's cultural export to Indonesia is ..... Gregg Wallace? Oh, the shame.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 18/11/2024 21:29

He’s cutting it in a very Asian style, ready for stir fry.

It’s a bit like on civilian Masterchef when they send them into a kitchen and they arse it up - makes no difference as far as I can see
