On ye go

OP posts:
User12356 · 09/11/2024 00:19

Felt for Lily tonight when she came out. It is great that she had the support of Ali in the house. Ali has been incredibly kind to her.

Surprised to see Khalid go.
Horrible to hear the boos for BP. She seems lovely and I imagine that would be hard for her to hear.

WallaceinAnderland · 09/11/2024 00:55

When they were in the storeroom right at the beginning one of the housemates asked Lily if she had Tourettes. Can't remember who it was, it might have been Sarah but she was spending all her time crying at that point so maybe not.

spm20 · 09/11/2024 07:15

@WallaceinAnderland I remember that comment and yes it was Sarah who asked her.

CellophaneFlower · 09/11/2024 08:11

Catching up, thanks for thread @TellingBone ❤️

I gasped so loudly when Khaled's name was read out I woke my dog up 🫣 I knew I wouldn't be blessed enough for both Lily and Ali to go but was fully expected BP.

I'm glad it wasn't BP but I do feel sorry for Khaled. Marcello should never have put him up. Also feel sorry for BP though. There was a point I felt she might be a bit fake but I genuinely think she has quite a low opinion of herself and those boos are going to help cement that 😥 I'm not 100% convinced she isn't into Nathan either. I think she's quite prudish (despite the erotic writing) and this is what makes her look uncomfortable. I think she finds him intelligent and is amazed he'd be attracted to her. Not saying it will last though.

I'm all about the BP win now to give her morale a boost.

ElderPrice · 09/11/2024 08:27

I watched the evictions but didn't get to watch the L&L interviews. How was Lily when she was being interviewed? The same as she was in the house? Like a PP, I also felt a (tiny) bit protective towards her when she was so completely overwhelmed standing on the runway.

Also a bit sad to hear BP being booed. I guess they were proxy-boos for Nathan.

If Thomas and Nathan had been up instead of Khaled (ie if Marcello had done a killer nomination instead of save and replace) then it's quite possible Khaled and Lily would have
stayed.

Still don't have a favourite as such but I may vote for BP at this stage and then reassess after Sunday. Marcello keeps going up and down in my "affections" and I'd quite like a woman to win this year.

usernother · 09/11/2024 08:53

I don't understand why they were boing for BP either. I've split my votes between marcello, Thomas and segun, but on reflection I wish I'd given them all to Sarah because I don't think she was being at all racist.

CellophaneFlower · 09/11/2024 08:54

There's nothing I like more than a humble winner and BP will undoubtedly be that. Segun would act like he was but I wouldn't be sure how genuine that would be.

I agree with another poster that the crowd never seems to be a fair representation of the public.

Kibble29 · 09/11/2024 09:45

Ali will win this.

FuckMiniBabybells · 09/11/2024 09:54

JaneJeffer · 08/11/2024 23:23

What about Tom? He has done nothing wrong and offended nobody so maybe he should win?

I'm convinced Tom has shagged a producers wife or ran over their cat to deserve such a terrible edit.
I may vote him to win as an F you to bb for having such a shite line up this year, and completely scrubbing a housemate out of existence for reasons unknown.

Edit: Marchello knew what he was doing leaving Khalid up the sneaky little shit.
Marchello, Sarah, Nathan, and Emma can all get in the bin. Couldn't give a monkeys jockstrap who wins between the rest of them. Possibly the worst lineup in history.

DancingTurtle · 09/11/2024 10:35

I put all my votes to win on Emma.

User12356 · 09/11/2024 10:36

Would love to see BP or Ali win.

ShyMaryEllen · 09/11/2024 10:43

I don't know who I want to win either.

Nathan - over my dry bones.
Ali - absolutely not.
BP - she's ok, but a bit vacant.
Emma - not keen at all. Would be good to see an older woman win, but not her in particular.
Thomas - as PP has said, maybe as a protest vote.
Marcello - I just don't know about him - I fluctuate.
Segun - another ok, but not deserving.
Sarah - Maybe.
Hanah - She hasn't done anything memorable babes.

So no hot favourite for me. I wanted Khaled to win. I suppose much depends on what happens over the next week. Maybe someone will shine. I hope they show Thomas doing something before Sunday, or he won't get a chance.

MrsPeterHarris · 09/11/2024 11:06

I voted Ali to win!

SabreIsMyFave · 09/11/2024 11:14

Kibble29 · 09/11/2024 09:45

Ali will win this.

If Ali does win, I will switch off the TV as soon as they announce her name. No interest whatsoever in seeing her come out as 'winner!' Over the past 5 weeks, she has been a cross between a nasty toxic bitch, and really boring. She has brought nothing to the house IMO.

Segun is nice but a bit boring. Ditto Thomas, but he is very boring.

Rosie/BP is ok, but I think Martha hit the nail on the head when she said she has mean girl vibes. She is mostly nice, but I believe she is capable of being a bitch underhandedly. She would probably say something like 'awww that dress suits you, you look so much healthier since you put some weight on.'

Can't stand Nathan. Stupid teeth, face like a foot, and toxic. I can't forgive him for his comments he made to Khalid about Palestine. Marchello is pretty OK, and although he is a bit crass sometimes I think he has a kind heart.

I dislike Hanah now, and find her quite bitchy, and also bratty, and a bit childish, and as I said she only seems to want to hang around with people who look like her.

I still like Sarah, and think the comments about 'Stop The Gloats' was just a bad joke that went a bit wrong. Hanah really milked it and made a mountain out of a molehill.

Shocked Khaled went and it's all bloody Marchello's fault! I think he went because although he is beautiful, I think he lost his spark over the past 2 weeks, and became slightly dull. If he had been as full of life as he was on his exit, and his interview, he would still be in the house IMO.

LOVE Emma, and she is getting all 5 of my votes. Will be nice to have someone a bit older as a winner.

usernother · 09/11/2024 11:41

Just watched last night's L&L. Couldn't watch all of Lily's interview because she was too annoying and kept looking at the camera. She reminds me of Forest Gump.

Khaled seems nice, there is only a couple of years between him and Lily but the difference in vocabulary and maturity between them is massive. Lily seemed unable to utter a sentence without saying 'like' about 6 times. I can't remember seeing Khaled talking about Gaza in the house, but AJ said it had been shown.

JaneJeffer · 09/11/2024 12:01

Can't understand why Khaled got voted out at all!

I agree with most of this, apart from the BP mean girl thing. I think she is terribly self critical of her own appearance and I don't think she would purposely put somebody else down. Although she has done many times to Nathan but pretty sure she does this in a playful kind of way and knows he can take it as he dishes out far worse. Same with the "old bag" thing to Emma. She knows her audience and that Emma wouldn't be offended.

rockingbird · 09/11/2024 13:50

Checking in to the new thread, delighted to see Lilly went last night - didn't watch it so might have a binge this afternoon to catch up! Shame about khaled, very misunderstood.

Aquarius1234 · 09/11/2024 13:53

Ali thought Lily would win or be in final at least.
She got that very wrong ! It Completely shocked her, backed the wrong horse.
Your always at risk if your often up for eviction.

AhBiscuits · 09/11/2024 14:04

I might back Segan to win purely because the one time he came off the fence it was hilarious.

JawsCushion · 09/11/2024 14:08

I voted what my son wanted but as I went through them all none appealed.

DancingTurtle · 09/11/2024 14:15

I'd be happy with Segun winning too. He shares the same traits that I value in Emma - authenticity, humour and humanity.

Reading others' posts, I think my dislike of Rosie does not reflect well on me. I agree that she's probably lacking in self-confidence and to avoid, perhaps, bullying or negative attention she's learned to make herself small and bland and inoffensive.

(Also, I think the description above of any HM as "nasty toxic bitch" is way over the top and out of order).

Turmerictolly · 09/11/2024 14:57

We haven't seen much of Rosie's personality unfortunately due to the showmance. She seems inarticulate and unable to express herself very well but also seems inoffensive. I think the boo's were due to hooking up with Nathan but she won't be aware of that and might blame herself.

ConstantlyFuriosa · 09/11/2024 15:28

Cocoalover · 08/11/2024 23:15

I'm not qualified to diagnose her, but I have a lot of experience and knowledge about autism. This girl shows many traits of autism. The lack of eye contact when speaking to someone and being spoken to, the exaggerated facial expressions, especially in situations where the facial expressions are not suitable to the situation, her lack of social and communication skills, the nose picking/eating, screaming inappropriately etc. She also seems to struggle with social cues. She seems to be in her own little world a lot of the time. I am glad she's gone as she was a bit unbearable with the screaming and the selfishness, but I do think Lily is a nice person. She is just very eccentric and very much like marmite!

Agree with all of this.

I’m still shocked about Khaled.
Ali was genuinely upset about Lily leaving. She burst into proper tears and Thomas, bless him, was comforting her, telling her to take deep breaths etc. I know he’s dull, but he seems like a nice young lad.

Ali to win for me.
