I agree @HurdyGurdy19 - as the episode went on, I've struggled to see how it wasn't a racist joke?!

I don't think she was being racist at all. It was just a well known phrase that's being used a lot atm and that happens to rhyme with gloats.

Kerry is currently in an advert that keeps popping up on my Facebook feed for a clothing brand. It took me forever to work out where I knew her face from!

It seemed to be about stopping people getting into a room, and someone 'Nathan?' called them gloats (as they were gloating, I assume), and Sarah made a 'joke' about Stop The Gloats, to rhyme with 'stop the boats'😵‍💫

Probably not deliberately racist, but why would you have that phrase as a reference?

I agree @ShyMaryEllen - such a weird thing to rhyme with. They were gloating so that was not in dispute. The boats thing was out of order.

I hope Sarah isn't kicked out, I think she didn't say this with malice but it was totally tactless nonetheless and I can see why Hanah would call it out and be upset.

Lily has got to go surely - she's a real pain and none of the housemates are finding it funny.

I agree @Turmerictolly & don't think she has racist intent but it's a fucking weird thing to rhyme with (or even think of!)

I HATE it when someone's apology pretty much saying 'I'm sorry if you feel offended' rather than saying 'I made a joke, but on reflection it was ill advised, I didn't think and I'm really sorry I caused offence.'

I think BB dealt with it well, she needed a warning. Definitely sounds like the kind of thing Nathan Farage would come out with.

What can you expect from someone who voted UKIP? And how come she said she's not interested in politics. Isn't she a mayoress?

I think there's confusion about Sarah's comment. I think she made it with regards to the vampires, so Ali, Emma, Segun, Thomas, Dean 🤔 Hanah thinks it was made about the upstairs gang. I get why Hanah would think it could be racist if about her group (not sure why she laughed about it with Sarah though then went straight to Segun to moan) but it wasn't aimed at them.
