Also, is Ali a psychotherapist, or counsellor or something? I can't see it. She has zero empathy or compassion as far as I can see. And she seems cold. I can't imagine anything worse than being assigned Ali as a 'counsellor' if I was struggling with mental health issues.

Think it was some kind of vegetable stew, purpleme12. She was very carefully cuttings carrots into star shapes - hence her calling it Star Stew. No idea what she did to make it so unpalatable to the others though.
