Was about to say similar, I was engaged to a guy when I was 17, he was quite abusive to me and I would seem to upset him without trying.
He was a closeted gay whose mother would never have accepted it, I found this out when I caught him and his male best friend shagging at 8am one Saturday morning in my living room.
He's now, years later, passed away but never came out due to his mother.
Kieran gives similar gay but can't admit it vibes.

Really felt for Emma throughout this - she just couldn’t have done anything about reminding Caspar of his sister from the start.

Absolutey fed up of the harping on about her needing to be emotionally vulnerable ffs.

Emotionally accessible maybe. Vulnerable? Never - this is the absolute opposite of what women need to be. Especially when a man is telling you this is what THEY need you to be to make them feel ok.

The two that have grown on me a bit, are Adam and Amy. They have held themselves well and with dignity given their partners and their desired exposure to publicity. I might also throw Lacey in the mix - she is fiery and feisty, no question, but she has been kind to Nathan the sweetest.

He was in the RAF, then spent time in MCTC, the military prison, for going absent without leave to go on the show!
From the footage he looks like a junior rank, an engineer would be my guess.

In his opening video he was around aircraft and strongly suggesting he was a pilot, no way on gods green earth would the RAF let him fly a plane!

It was sad yes because his friend died as well. Neither came out. It was always done in secret, the friend actually got married but from what I was told carried on the relationship with my ex as well. In his case his family were religious hence keeping quiet and marrying someone.

Very sad indeed. Neither reached 40.

On the Alex stuff. I was watching a bit of the programme and he said/did something that made my blood run cold, and then I realised that I had just read that he was abusive and that was colouring how I viewed everything he said or did onscreen. Not saying he isn't but...well...just trying to be honest.

One thing I find a bit strange. If Sacha was so exercised by Alex behaviour why leave it till they are filming and stirring drama with her "husband" rather than reporting it to someone. Is there anyone to report to on the show? If not, why not?

Same with Holly. Why wait to create maximum drama during the "recommitment ceremony" (sounds like a cult, doesn't it) rather than resigning from the show and reporting him, as a normal person would. After all, these are serious allegations.

Is Alex just a dickhead or a dangerous individual? I have to admit that I can't make a decision based on what I've seen (not the whole series)

You would think that when you're throwing strangers into intimacy with each other that producers would brief contestants about appropriate conduct and on how to make complaints/raise concerns etc if they need to.

The shows producers can't be doing their job properly by safeguarding contestants. Either that or the show has been edited for maximum drama which has backfired this year because we are all seeing abuse everywhere.

Oh, and all the stuff claiming that one of the contestants must be gay makes me feel uneasy because it reminds me of all the "outing" that happened years ago.

It's up to that contestant to decide what their sexuality is.

So glad Made In Chelsea left. Their paroxysms of polite guilt at not fancying each other was making me so sad.

Of the couples that are left, I think they are all weak.

I don't see how they can inject any more excitement and intrigue into this now.

I quite like Lacey. I fell for the poor ' ugly' twin line. I really like the way she has Nafe's back. I really feel for how difficult it must be appeasing mama of the slap heads. But I am always suspicious when you see this overwhelming thirst for insta fame.

Yes exactly. Emma seems to be the type that would try and make anything work really. She didn't listen to him when he told her that she was like his sister. Just ploughed on being "fun Emma" hoping to wear him down.

I agree my opinion also that behaviour is not classy and has 0 to do with Trust. Nathan is none confrontational even when he has a right to be so of course he would say nought about it Lacey seems to wear the trousers and he knows it. He comes across more like her son then an equal.

I wonder if any of the couples have either a spoken or unspoken agreement that they are there for the fame only and just need vaguely to get along together til the end of the show.

to me I feel that Emma and Casper were both very much there to find a partner rather than fame. Shame it didn’t work for them
