She's obsessed with Ross 'defending her honour' and making a huge drama out of it - notice she mentioned it to Polly as soon as Polly walked in. Ross initially didn't want to confront Alex and clearly only did it at her request, but more fool him for going along with it.

Also the storming out when Alex was about to make a speech, calling him a pussy etc. surely knowing you're on Tv you'd rein it in a bit? Or does she just want screen time?
