You must sing it along to the tune or it won't work.

I suspect Ross was probably teased/possibly bullied as a child for his disability and bulked up at the gym as a defence but isn't actually aggressive, just uses his bulk as a barrier to people trying to come for him. I hope that makes sense!

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 12:37

@Oneandahalfonagoodday that's the sense I get from Ross also.

menopausalfart · 25/10/2024 12:37

Ross just looked really uncomfortable in that exchange with Alex. He was well out of his comfort zone. I thought it was all a show for Sasha, but it didn't pan out the way she wanted.

User364837 · 25/10/2024 12:45

Yes I don’t like the way Ross seems to just be bending to be like Sacha wants him to be.
or it’s all just acting.

InconsideratelyThoughtful · 25/10/2024 13:01

Ah yes, of course, Charlene, thank you.

There was potential teabag content in the dream! I was supposed to make a cup of tea with M&S for one of Gaston's helpers but forgot the sugar so it was all a bit of a damp squid 🐙😉

He's totally gonna realise how high maintenance she is. I predict a final vows dumping.

mewkins · 25/10/2024 13:26

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 12:35

I just hope the Gaston dream didn't involve parking in precarious spots or teabags.

Charlene is one of the so called experts.

I watched Sasha with her folks. I thought how close they all seemed and how I would have just loved that. Any dad would be absolutely reeling at the misogyny of Alex towards his daughter. Alex is a big threatening oaf. How I would have loved daddy Ming growing up. ( I'll take it all back if he turns out to be a wrongun)

I don't like how far Ross has gone though. It all was incredibly cringe and I wish Sasha had just pulled him back. There was a point where he was riled, which she did feed, and it just backfired.

It's as if Ross didn't read the memo and walked onto the wrong set!

Sacha made a comment in last night's episode I think along the lines of 'Alex doesn't like it because I see him'. I think she's right and that's the reason she will never get an apology.

There's something about both being from the same place and being so familiar with how groups of people from that place behave.... she knows his type and isn't afraid to stand up to them. Maybe her ex was exactly like him and that's what made her lose control. Other times she has been eloquent and controlled.

I also see why she and Polly were questioning him about Hollie. They both suspect that he has been treating her badly off camera which is why she left. I think they are right and as much as the experts praise him, there is no way he's going to accept criticism or even have a discussion about any issues they have without getting defensive or accusing her of 'coming at him'(aka having a grown up discussion).

Appalonia · 25/10/2024 13:32

I find it very hard to relate to the behaviour of Holly, Polly and Sasha. I'd feel mortified if I behaved the way they did. And to do it on national television? I'd want to present my best self and I'd try to walk away from conflict or try and be a peacemaker. I appreciate they're in a high stress environment, but can anyone explain why they think it's ok to behave that way? ( I appreciate that it is highly edited, which is why it's so interesting to hear their interviews afterwards where you see a completely different side to them ).

Is Emma auditioning for a part in Little Women?

lol. She not unattractive, but her hair and clothing style reminds me of a dowdy* 50 year old SAHW from the Home Counties. That's not a compliment.

*I am much older than 50. I am sometimes dowdy. I am currently a SAHW. I used to live in the Home Counties.

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 13:36

@mewkins yes I totally agree. I have people like this in my sphere - hence my rants about Alex 🤦‍♀️. When they know you see them theres no going back. They can't manipulate you anymore

Teeh · 25/10/2024 13:46

Could the fact that Ross looked so uncomfortable in his exchange with Alex show that he isn’t accustomed to aggressive outbursts? Hopefully so. A shame that he ended up feeling cornered in to it.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 25/10/2024 13:56

I really don't like Sasha making Ross to be confrontational and defend her honour. He's said he doesn't like drama.

Teeh · 25/10/2024 14:04

Yes he could have her back in a non confrontational way. Just by subtlety distancing themselves and no longer getting involved.

Teeh · 25/10/2024 14:05

Also - did I imagine it or did Casper say he would ideally want to wife swap with polly?

Todaywasbetter · 25/10/2024 14:09

Sasha and polly are absolutely awful nasty girls who still got the sweet taste of secondary school bullying on their tongue. Alex - I find him likeable.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 25/10/2024 14:13

@Teeh They said it's wife swap week next week and Casper said he'd like to be paired with Polly.

Alex and Sasha pair up incoming I suspect

Catching up but MY GOD why are the experts so utterly determined to pretend Alex is some wronged little fairy?? He is an aggressive abusive prick

You find Alex likeable?
or is that a typo 😆

I’m finding it hard to imagine how he can found likeable! What do you like about him?

agree 100% about the girls. Ugly personalities especially Holly and Polly. Sacra I thought was ok until last episode when she lost the plot.

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 14:57

Is that you Alex 😬

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 15:13

Or the Aunties. He's a mollycoddled horror.

In fairness, I can see why people can be drawn to him. He does seem so likeable and something endearing about him in moments. I do get it. For a minute I saw it myself and it triggered the empathetic part of me. It's very clever.

He hates women, that is very clear. He'll be punching pillows all over the place with people calling him out online. In his mind we're all a bunch of slags when we see him I'm sure🤷‍♀️

SassK · 25/10/2024 15:28

I feel so bad for Kieran 🥲 He looks proper stressed, it's weighing heavily on him (the knowing how hurt she's going to be). He's such a lovely guy.

Tittat50 · 25/10/2024 15:31

I feel for both K and K. They both seem like genuine people with good hearts. It's such a shame refi the PMDD. It's a cruel thing that will probably always impact her relationships.

menopausalfart · 25/10/2024 15:35

I did read somewhere that K has found the right meds for her. At least one good thing came from being on this show.
