Oooh! Last night's was good - PHolly the bullies - and Emma at least sticking up a little for Hannah.

DH was in the room and half watching the show - he was gobsmacked! 😅 Despite his protestations of hating reality TV shows I reckon he's eager for Monday to see what happens next.

I doubt Emma and Caspar will become a true couple - but they are kind of sweet together

Gaston is coming out as being the only decent one on here so far for me.

Looking at the trailer for Monday, it could be that the tears are about someone on the sofa who has declared undying love (unlikely), moved forward in their relationship (unlikely) or for a couple who have both voted leave (high likely hopefully for their sake)?

I think last year (although can't remember if it was Aus or UK), the trailer showed someone leaving (insinuating that they would be leaving the show) but in reality they were just leaving the dinner party and returned to the CC as normal. It was pretty undramatic!

I think the trailer was edited by someone who makes spot the ball pictures for a living

Did we ever get an explanation for why Richelle wasn't at the dinner party again ? Apart from the obvious.

I think Casper and Emma should remain friends and fix each other up with some of their single friends from the outside.

I liked Ryan initially. Now I think he's nice to look at but not nice enough to want to know.

But she wasn't in the beginning, I remember posting how pretty she was. The toxicity really does show on your face I think.
Toxuc positivity is annoying but clearly it makes for better skin.

I've finally caught up both with the show and with these threads... and some of the comments have made me laugh so so much! Thank you! Everything about Shitlid... (dear god that ridiculous hair) but actually yes he now seems quite decent compared to Pol Pot who is just coming across as rude, oafish, bullish, childish, but also deluded, desperate, really insecure and completely unable to regulate herself.
I just wondered if anyone noticed or remembers that shitlid4kids actually said something quite off even before he and Hannah had the row and it all exploded. I took a dislike to him right from the beginning. So when they were initially just talking about getting to know each other after the marriage ceremony... he said something along the lines of 'yeah, and so I can see how you behave' it was the use of the word behave, he wasn't saying so I can see what you're like, find out more about you... I just remember noticing that and thinking it was an odd attitude. As it turns out, she is rather tricky, but I think he was saying that before we knew that. He's coming across as very immature and unpleasant. Also, is it contact lenses that make her eyes look like that?
When Alex was asked if he'd stick or twist his answer about sticking because twisting was not the kind of man he was (ahem) ... I noticed he didn't say he'd stick because Holly was so lovely, it was all about what kind of man he is, not very complimentary to his bride I thought.
Richelle has been hostile since the very beginning. (I want her necklace though) Her recent comment that she was 'acting with integrity' by staying another week and missing her daughter's birthday because that was what Orsen wanted... in what world is it acting within integrity to miss your own child's birthday to spend a week with someone you really hate and despise?

If we could have paired them all differently from the beginning.., I wonder who might have suited who better. My revised pairings would be:
Richelle and Alex, she'd have got the dominant man and fights she clearly wants.
Orson and Holly, because really she needed someone softer and more adult.
Shitlid with ... 😬 er I actually can't think!
Polly and Alex might have been quite funny!

I was thinking about all the unseen bits while living in the apartment building. Presumably they've been free to mingle together (either side of the staged bits that we've been privvy to) and form allegiances. Much like they are at the so called filmed and heavily scripted 'retreat'. There has been plenty of time to flirt and bitch off camera presumably

I really like Gaston. He seems to have a good sense of humour and I like his face.

Gaston does seem lovely and respectful of his wife Amy who hasn’t made much of an impression to the tv audience yet (not a bad thing).

Richelle is too old for this crap. She’s flawed - as they all are - but doesn’t give a crap. Fuck knows why she entered anyway. Perhaps her daughter persuaded her.

I still dislike Casper. He’s so precious and clearly doesn’t appreciate Emma’s rather marvellous jolly hockey sticks personality.Thats ok, but he’s sending her mixed messages he doesn’t mean.

I don’t think the kiss is Amy and Orsen, as people have said - where’s the drama in that? It’s Kristina and Ross, or Kieran and Sasha. Damn cos I love those couples.

Polly reminds me so much of Gemma (I think that’s her name, the hairdresser who was paired with the beardy tattooed barber - who ran off with whiney Whitney - and bothered him for sex) She was similarly lacking in self confidence and lacking in that gene which says if he doesn’t want to fuck you, for gods sake leave him alone.

Not sure what others think of Hannah here but she is definitely not the villain of the series.

Just catching up yesterdays episode. I hated Casper at first but since he's got a bit giggly and a bit more fun I'm having weird feelings about him. He's sort of the most fanciable?! IDK what's happening to me !

I think Orson thinks he's on love island. 'Pull her for a chat ?'..I'm guessing he auditioned but was too old.

It's all got so scripted and they talk in clichés all the time..it's like politition speak, they move their mouths but we don't get the true picture of what's really going on..like
