Greys anatomy season 21

Episode 1 is on Disney. A bit beihind the US so I'm avoiding googling! Anyone else watching?

I had to rewatch the end of season 20 to remind myself what was happing.

Oh the situation was that she’d operated on the young girl which went wrong so she had locked in syndrome. The mother was demanding the go in again and operate but Amelia didn’t want to for whatever reason so the mum bought in a tank of something and threatened to blow up the hospital if they didn’t. The mother then said it was an empty tank and the panic was over. Until the dad said he didn’t have any empty ones. Cue Meredith watching the explosion from the ground floor and ensuing drama and death. I’m sure the same scene of a wing exploding had been used previously

Yes!!! Why? Is she putting it on like liv Tyler or is her voice close to failing???? I only saw one or two episodes of one tree hill and that film with the Gardner from desperate housewives but I don’t remember her sounding like that?!

Yes, I believe it's the mid-season break, now. I hate when they end on such cliff hangers (but it shouldn't surprise me)!

My prediction is she’ll pull through. Having her die and leaving Linc with Scout, Luna and newborn twins would be silly (would he just have four children in the never ending extremely flexible childcare they all seem to have no problem getting access to??), and having her and the twins die would be bleak even for grey’s!

Agreed. I wonder whether or not the twins will be ok, though... I think we might be in for an emotional ride...

Appreciate this is an old thread but I’ve just finished watching season 22 - thought it was a good season & so glad Teddy & Owen are now gone!

Was it the last episode? I didn’t even realise 😂

I assumed so but maybe I’m wrong - it felt like an end of season episode albeit there was no huge cliffhanger, so maybe not!

If it was episode where Teddy and Owen left, yes that was the season finale.

I’m guessing the Amelia/Cass/Toni situation is the cliffhanger.

That’s the one - I really enjoyed it and loved that no one was in peril (although I don’t want Linc to be addicted to pain pills as Jo has had enough trauma & loved how he supported her choosing whatever she wanted to do!) Never have cared about Amelia’s love life (& her whispery voice just irritates me!)

I’ve enjoyed the last few seasons more again. It was nice seeing Mer propose to Nick to show how far she’s come! I love Amelia though, so I’m interested to see how that pans out.

hoping for Linc it’s not an addiction storyline, just him not wanting to admit his much pain he’s in.

Does nobody have to work their notice in America? How can you have two senior doctors just up and leave?

Generally it’s only 1-2 weeks notice, no matter how long you’ve worked somewhere or your seniority, so leaving with no notice at all isn’t unusual (unless retiring) - certainly not in the organisation / industry I was in (although that wasn’t medicine).

I don’t understand these intense Grey’s relationships. All the Amelia and Toni angst - haven’t they been dating for about a month, if that? Jules crying over people not knowing that her and Winston mean something to each other - again, a very new relationship. They all need to calm down.

I think Linc is going to end up addicted to painkillers, it’s doesn’t really seem like the grey’s way to just have someone start secretly taking pills and not get addicted. Amelia and Richard will force him to a meeting eventually.

Does anyone know if Kwan is actually fired - did the actor leave?
