Greys anatomy season 21

Episode 1 is on Disney. A bit beihind the US so I'm avoiding googling! Anyone else watching?

I had to rewatch the end of season 20 to remind myself what was happing.

They were blissfully happy in the least episode. Therefore I'm certain that he will not be OK. Nobody is allowed to stay happy in Tellyland, and especially not in Grey's 😥

Surely Jo deserves some luck after the abusive husband and the runaway husband?? Even Meredith grey has Nick now!

Exactly, it would be so cruel to have Link die and she has to raise 3 kids herself, especially after everything that has happened to her with previous marriages.

I really hated the open marriage story line between Owen and Teddy. I’ve only just caught up with it all so I’m a bit behind. I’ve never really liked Owen to be honest, right from when he unknowingly tried to strangle Cristina in bed. She was another one I didn’t like though to be honest.

Speaking of Nick, how did Meredith even meet him? I was watching the series and he all of a sudden appeared. I kept thinking I had missed some episodes as it didn’t make sense to me.

He was a guest character in one episode a while ago. A surgeon visiting the hospital to do a transplant but meredith ended up operating on him because he’s just had a kidney transplant himself. They flirted a bit. He left.

The character was popular so they brought him back later on.

Oh the open marriage thing was just shit. Not as a concept per se but for those two? After everything? Owen being super shocked that Teddy slept with Alison Snr? And with barely any discussion? And immediately getting it on with a Co worker (T) and his wife’s patient (O)? Aaargh, no!

Amelia/Link or Lucas/Simone - maybe. But not Owen and Teddy.

Yes - blissfully happy is a precursor for death on greys 😂

Are any couples happy? Ben and Miranda, and Richard and Catherine are the only two I can think of that haven’t ended with death or divorce (yet - not sure if they’ll all escape the explosion..)

Well, with Ben’s residency not being continued, I would guess he will be on screen less next season anyway

He’ll probably be back with a new job. Radiologist or something.

Maybe he can become a cop, tick off another blue light service!

I’m just on Disney as I thought there were new episodes but I had watched them. It goes to episode 10 and then skips to 17. Have they gone missing or has mine glitched?

Teddy & Owen have never ever had chemistry. He had it with cristina and Amelia but never teddy. The whole open marriage back fired on her lol! 2 months is a long wait

So I’ve just watched the last two episodes and kept skipping through thinking “I’ve seen this bit”. I’ve seen it all and just forgot. I’ve now turned it off as I remember watching the hospital explode and thinking, I swear this scene is a reuse of the last explosion.

I reckon Ben might end up staying anyway... I suspect the aftermath of the explosion might leave them short staffed due to injuries or death(s), so he'd be needed?

“Your dr is a guy we didn’t deem good enough, however since our staff keep dying, we’ve had to keep him on”

Yep... that actually seems to have happened quite a lot over the various seasons 🤣

si I gave up on season 21 but have starred season 22! Which started yesterday in America. I don’t feel I have missed much in skipping all 21!

Will let others catch up on the season opener. Who lives! Who dies!!

So I was way behind and have binged from the S21 mid season break to S22 Ep 1. Ugh I’m so sick to death of Owen and Teddy I can’t even put it into words and Griffith is starting to piss me off too. Rooting for Millin and Ndugu though and quite liking a certain new intern!

Just watching this week’s episode - maybe I wasn’t paying attention but I don’t remember Amelia and Beltran being that close that she’d take to her bed for weeks? Were they dating? Good friends?

I thought that. I think they kissed a bit and then she went to ndugu?

To be fair, it got a bit more explained towards the end of the episode where it was clear she was feeling guilty about the whole situation with the explosion and her patient. I just can’t remember what that situation was.

Ah, I’d stopped paying attention by the end to be honest. I might have to rewatch.
