Very harsh lighting throughout, everyone looks terrible, but in a lovely charming British way.
AMM wig/hair just too short on the fringe, completely unstylish, but she has a great way about her, I think she's the better one out of the two.
David Mitchell is quite good but I'm a bit fed up with the 'on the spectrum' genius odd-ball detective trope, there's been so many.
That police station is very odd, do people have weird cardboard offices in the middle of a big space? What about confidentiality?
The murders and clues could be more complex and drawn out, we've only just found out there's a murder, then there's some people we don't care about, then he solves it in 2 minutes flat. Would appreciate a bit more characterisation here, but that's because I'm thinking of Morse and Lewis and the set-up of the characters before and after the murder. It's too fast here and we don't care at all about them.
