I am really vouching for Polly. She is warm, giving, funny, beautiful and it's a little sad to see how she's gasping for reassurance from Adam. She deserves to be loved. On the other hand, I can't see anyone that's in the current MAFS is at her level. Honestly, Polly, you go girl!

I think Richelle is actually really perceptive and seeing through his bullshit. It’s like he’s read a book on how to sound endearing to women. I am looking forward to tonight! I want to see if Charlie is wearing Eve’s skin as a jacket.

This is kinda a problem with the current state of MAFSUK. We don't see enough of the better people on the show, like Lara, say, because they pair them with idiots and they have the good sense to leave.

The last series would have been a lot better with more Bianca and less JJ, for example.

Yes sorry it's not really witty. I just saw the preview of the dinner party ranking scene and also that a few of them seem to have tanked already ( and no Richelle).

The clip of Caspar and Emma keeps coming up my Insta. I don't think he's rude about her weight actually. It's more her saying "do you find me sexy" a couple of times.He never bought up weight she asked his type. One of the other guys ( Ross?) says he prefers curvy girls so it would be same issue if MAF matched him with a flat chested model type.

This is the first MAFS I have watched in a long time. I think I only ever watched the very first one. I must say it is thoroughly entertaining and I am looking forward to the dinner party now!

I think it was Alex, the aviation boxer guy, who said he preferred curvy girls. Personally I find such rigid and strong preferences hard to fathom, but maybe I'm the weird one. It seems very common on MAFS.

I think she let herself down by sleeping with Adam though. She'd already been told he didn't even fancy her. Has she no self respect at all? Adam is a complete a-hole in my opinion.

I think Casper is less annoying than Adam.
Casper at least ‘tries’ to be somewhat tactful in how he’s saying things. He’s not very good at it, but he does try and at least consider how he’s wording things.

I find Polly's desperate scrabbling for scraps of affection really sad. You just know he could treat her like absolute shit, click his fingers and she'd come trotting back in a heartbeat.

I think they probably ask them what their physical ideal would be. Back when I cared more about these things I’d probably have said the tall rugby player type, I’ve always loved big, solidly built men. Obviously I’ve spent the last 26 years with someone who’s 5ft 6in and a little rotund because he has the sexiest brain I’ve ever encountered!

Could almost have been a celibate conception?

Yes it sounded a bit like that time but that's made me think did he leave a partner heavily pregnant or with a newborn which is potentially a concern. Given that this programme is scripted reality, and what the people do and say is directed, I assume that they are encouraged to talk about what their physical preferences are. Far more than they ever would in real life.

Her self-esteem is in the shitter which is why she slept with him. When your self - esteem is that low, you do anything to please the man in the hopes that it will convince him that you are worthy. Men don't give a shit, they see an easy lay, it's just scratching a need.

Unless she learns that no man is worth you agonising over him, trying to impress him, make him love you, continue accepting the tiniest, the most basic displays of affection, you will continue to get used and discarded. It takes a very long time to get to that point. Many never do.
