Just watched the documentary about him.
I never liked the man.
I always thought he was full of s* and a dodgy character but omg what a complete bastard.
Rapist and sex pest.
I always felt he was not a genuine person. Other predators have seemed more convincing such as Stuart Hall ( admittedly I was a fan of It’s a Knockout.) and dare I say it Rolf Harris. Albeit I was a child and watched men like this on TV.
Shame this didn’t become public knowledge whilst he was still alive.

Bit of conjecture here. Had Diana been adequately warned, would she still be alive? Maybe this would have made her want to rebel more and drawn her closer to Dodi

The Vanity Fair article was published before Princess Diana went to the South of France with the Fayed family. She certainly would have known.

@BeGoldOP @Cozylozy the other doctor named is Dr Ann Coxon.

She is still alive but her website has vanished.

She was also Max Clifford's personal doctor.

I saw on the news journalists caught up with her (BBC I think). She obviously denied all knowledge.

Dr Ann Coxon is an external doctor, working in Harley Street, so not the “other doctor” that I referred to. In the late 1990’s there were two doctors working as Harrods employees, one was Dr Wendy Snell. The other lady doctor’s name escapes me unfortunately.

Now, this really annoys me. Yes Al Fayed was a horrible sex pest, but so was Ghislaine Maxwell, who isn’t a man. Let’s not tarnish half of the population here. Most of us aren’t sex pests!

Most men are not sex pests, but most sex pests are men.

(ETA and ‘sex pests’ is a minimalising term. All rapists are men)

And tell me @Schead , when was the last time you paid for an Uber rather than walk half a mile home because you needed to beware of men late at night? When was the last time you felt you felt sexually threatened by a woman with power or authority over you?

Every single woman I know has at some time in her life been sexually abused, molested, co-erced or compromised by a man with power or authority over her.

How often has that happened to you?

If it has, I am sorry. But surprised it had not given you an insight or empathy k to what living jn a sexist society means for women and girls in a daily basis.

Enough of you are that many of us have had our lives ruined.

I know you don't know me personally, but none of the things you mention have happened to me as a female.

It is beyond reprehensible that channel 5 this evening is airing a jolly Christmas show about Al Fayed and his wonderful store at Christmas. Are they actually mad? Al Fayed's legacy is to London at Christmas????? Actually, Harrods, I think you'll find that is not his legacy.
