Watching Steve Halliwell on Classic he's such a good actor. In one episode this week Alice asked him for the contact card a journalist had given him and instead of just handing it to her he started rooting through all his pockets and pulling random stuff out

Ah seeing the snippets tonight I really miss Zak. I remember reading that Steve loved Emmerdale so much he wanted to stay in it as long as possible.

That's interesting @JaneJeffer as the other articles I've read say she didn't want to come back. Clearly they give the impression that she was asked. I just don't understand why they wouldn't ask her. Surely it's better to have the original actor 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes it's pretty obvious that they want to portray Tina in a completely different light but why lie and say she didn't want to come back. Maybe they didn't think she would comment. Well tough shit Emmerdale

It's just bonkers not to ask Jacqueline back as she actually worked with Steve and surely that's the whole point reuniting those that worked with him on Emmerdale.

It's stupid as most people would have been Tina who? As she wasn't the original actress so trying to place her was hard and makes for disinterest in the character imo.

I don't understand the Emmerdale publicity team at all!
