I often lurk on this thread (usually read it after the episode). But I feel the need to de-lurk (hello all) to collectively share with you how completely frustrated I am with this.

I know it's only a soap, but they've ruined this storyline now. Until today, I thought they had been doing really well with a really important subject.

They’ve completely derailed the storyline with tonight’s stupidity.

There will be no closure for Belle doing it this way 😞

Just watched last night's and as my 87 yr old father said, OMG! Thursdays was brilliant but yes, last night's was the usual far-fetched nonsense. At first I thought they were going right back to the beginning when Amelia set up the whole thing, then I realised I was watching Thursday's again! I had selected the wrong episode 😆
I think they are aiming to drag the whole thing out and have a huge Xmas special based on Tom's demise.

Oh and I loved it when they were working out how to get rid of the body and Sam said "Can't we call Cain, he's far better at this sort of thing" 😆

I used to really like Vinnie but he seems to have turned in to an overacting buffoon in recent months with those silly facial expressions. The scene with Vinnie and Sam sitting in A&E was like something from a 1970s comedy farce.
As for Amelia 😡

Also couldn't believe Lydia coming up with the plan to hide the body and then telling Sam and Vinnie to do it while she looked after Belle.

I'm guessing we are going to have a long drawn out court case until Christmas with Belle on trial for attempted murder. In the meantime Tom will probably kill Amelia and then all of a sudden Belle will be believed.

I agree about Vinny. He was quite a promising character but has been turned into a blithering idiot. What's happened to his "romance" with Gabby?

How can you walk away from an axe in your back? He’d have to get the axe out, a blade like that is going to damage something internally, spinal cord or lungs. And there was no dripping blood trail or spatter blood on Belle ( I watch far too much real. life CSI)
I wish the scriptwriters would credit us with a bit of intelligence. They might just as well as had Tom beamed up by Martians.

I have so much to catch up on but can I be arsed? I might just read the thread and get the gist of things.

I gather Belle has gone all Lizzie Borden then. I knew they would have to go OTT and destroy any chance that the story could inspire women being abused by their partners that there is a way out. They do the same thing with every single "issue" storyline which is why I wish they wouldn't do them at all.

I imagine the axe didn’t go in very deep, or he’d have died at the scene, bled to death.it was rather rid,though.
