Ooh is there going to be a big showdown between Graham and Luca? Will Zara have to intervene?

Raahh · 18/09/2024 14:24

I think Talullah's mother is the issue.

JoanChitty · 18/09/2024 14:25

I think something will happen and Kirsty will accept the new job.

She will- and unlike the real world, won't need to work any notice Grin.

Raahh · 18/09/2024 14:27

Luca is not going to do himself any favours.

Raahh · 18/09/2024 14:28

Ha! well done Bear- Graham will hate that,

Allthehorsesintheworld · 18/09/2024 14:32

Brilliant move Bear 👏 Graham’s face😂

Cattyisbatty · 18/09/2024 17:00

graham is awful, but it was a dick move re the ‘she’ pronoun! Bear is right, Luca should’ve just gone to him.
Liked the story today though. The mum was ridiculous though!

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:04

Yay! An Al episode- although these podcast episodes are all a bit odd.Grin

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:06

Before and after the birth- pristine unused kitchen v messy kitchen Grin

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:08

Does the mother live in her kitchen ? She realises her phone is a mobile?

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:12

I like spotting the Robot in Al's house.

Oh dear- the baby was on the floor with the glass.

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:15

Don't think much of this 'doctor'.

JoanChitty · 19/09/2024 14:17

Epilepsy?

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:19

Brain tumour? Sad

Misthios · 19/09/2024 14:19

Another filler episode starring Al, this time.

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:25

They are sticking to their tried and tested episode formulas Mishios- even with limited time left. Grin

Raahh · 19/09/2024 14:28

Oh, she died.

Thenewbohemians · 19/09/2024 14:29

Al needs a spin off show a la House MD.

JoanChitty · 19/09/2024 14:29

Well that was depressing

Allthehorsesintheworld · 19/09/2024 14:33

Wasn’t it just. But the dr she saw didn’t think of even blood and urine checks. I’ve thought for years the ‘ don’t look for zebras’ in British medicine is a failure. Medical appointments in Europe for example are completely different. Every test is done and usually immediately.

Thenewbohemians · 19/09/2024 14:49

My friend had miscarriages into high double figures. The NHS couldn't find anything wrong with her. She emigrated to a country with private medical insurance as standard, and was promptly diagnosed with Coeliac disease. After she cut out gluten, she went on to carry healthy, to term pregnancies.

My bastard GPs won't let you talk about more than one or at the most, 2 things bothering you at a time. So no way they would allow themselves to hear about more than one symptom in order to get the full picture of a potential condition.

MadisonAvenue · 19/09/2024 18:56

That was a sad episode. Love Al but don’t usually think much of the Doctective episodes but that one was so well done.

Hope we see more of Ian Midlane once this ends.

I'm still holding out for him becoming Doctor Who Grin Tardis

Cattyisbatty · 19/09/2024 22:20

That was well done & sobering. It’s so true that Drs are too quick to dismiss symptoms as stress, menopause, anxiety, viral when they could be something serious.
I had concerning symptoms nearly 5 years ago when it looks like it’s prob epilepsy. Still waiting for full results of scan I had in June (thankfully not a brain tumour, I know that at least).,
