Break out groups? Is that a new way of saying 'group'

It's a thing in training courses and meetings

Corporate-speak

Sounds like a workhouse, that generates power at the MillGrin.

doctorsnoddy · 21/10/2024 14:21

Won't work, they only have 2 patients a day!

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:22

How many 'older neighbour befriends misunderstood teenagers' storylines have there been over the years?

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:23

At least one a month.

I think he might have autism too, good luck with that waiting list Sad

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:24

And an official diagnosis could take years to get.

But not in Doctors world.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 21/10/2024 14:25

He'll probably be able to pop down to St Phil's this afternoon for diagnosis.

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:26

This woman's brown skirt is annoying me- does it have straps or not?

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:26

Oh definitely. In the one available room.

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:27

A plastic badge, Rosie.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 21/10/2024 14:28

Rosie the Eco-Warrior, who'd have thought it. This is going to be as annoying as Daniel and the electric car. Or forgotten about by next week, take your pick.

Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:31

It's like deja vu- every so often, they bring up the same plots. Mrs T did her stint with recycle bins, Daniel dressed as the recycle man - now Rosie.

Clearly they are very bad at keeping up with ideas at the Mill. And waste a lot of time and money. Grin

MadisonAvenue · 21/10/2024 14:46

That felt like a bit of a filler episode.

OP posts:
Raahh · 21/10/2024 14:52

It seems so odd to have so many 'filler episodes' when time is running out, doesn't it Madison?

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 21/10/2024 14:55

Yes, you'd have thought they'd want to wrap up all the long running stories. Has Kirsty left BTW? I've only been watching intermittently but haven't seen her for ages

LIZS · 21/10/2024 16:33

Catching up, was he in the Bill?

martinisforeveryone · 21/10/2024 16:47

@ExquisiteIyDecorated Kirsty was kind of persuaded by Graham that she was stagnating and should be looking to grow her career. Coincidentally as soon as she'd uploaded her CV to an NHS jobs website, a rival surgery contacted her and she was rushed into a new job, I think as assistant practice manager. Graham seems to be slowly offing people.

All this greener and sustainability stuff makes me laugh. It's presented as life changing, planet changing, but it's just what we used to do. Less plastic, reusable shopping bags, and make do and mend. I did laugh at the woman who was considering a new jacket because the button had come loose and she 'couldn't sew'

lazarusb · 21/10/2024 17:23

My sons can both see... surely it's not that hard? Not sure Rosie's idea of sustainability is going to work at the Mill. Not that it actually matters now of course...I would have preferred them to wrap up some storylines too.

What is Graham's problem going to be with the young woman tomorrow? That she has short hair and wears trousers?!

Raahh · 21/10/2024 19:57

LIZS · 21/10/2024 16:33

Catching up, was he in the Bill?

Not sure about the Bill, he was definitely in Eastenders and Touch of Frost.

(He's another one who has been in Doctors about half a dozen times already though).

martinisforeveryone · 22/10/2024 13:54

@lazarusb no, simple sewing particularly, isn't hard, but I think it's the attitude of I've never tried it, so I can't do it, a bit like not liking food that's actually never been tasted.

Am here for today's episode because I've read a preview that says it features Graham. Let's see if it's one of the better episodes.
