Nice new thread for when the old one wears out.

I can cope with it if it means John Wong makes a return.

I have questions like why did they leave the bottom of the garage open? Why was the window open? Why was there suddenly a padlock and chain? If the guy put that in wouldn’t they have heard it? And why wasn’t he under police protection?

I know the answer to all of this is… it’s Neighbours.

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 19/03/2025 13:40

I’ve just caught up with the wedding episode, having skipped a few here and there. I completely agree about make-up and wardrobe - Krista actually looked like a Pantomime Dame, with those bright streaks of rouge on her cheek-bones, as well as the terrible coloured lipstick. Does the person doing the make-up have a particular grudge against her?
I’m thinking it’s really good Amazon is axing the programme as I couldn’t face years more of Kirsty worrying about Seb telling Leo everything, at least if it’s going to happen, it will happen soon!

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 19/03/2025 13:46

Oh, and forgot to say, doesn’t Anne Charleson look good for her age!

TheodoraCrumpet · 19/03/2025 13:49

I couldn't really tell what was going on in the garage fire, partly because of the lighting but also because I was head down in my lunch. What's the deal with Sadie and Byron exactly?

HoHoHoliday · 19/03/2025 14:13

Finally caught up after falling behind.

I agree Krista’s whole wedding look was off. She looked like she was going to a Greek tragedy fancy dress rather than a wedding. Also, who spends ages doing hair and make up, only to travel across the sea on a speed boat?! She’d have looked like a scarecrow when that boat arrived.

This Madge lookalike storyline had better have a good ending. I worry with the way they do Neighbours these days that that’ll be it - she looked like Madge then left.

Why did Byron leave Sadie? He had to climb over Sadie to reach Nicolette! Poor Sadie. But hooray - Wendy is back!

That moment when Terese opened her front door and Susan came with a big hug - I need that Susan hug to help me cope with losing Neighbours 😭

DD said look at her cheek bones!

TomBradysLeftKneecap · 19/03/2025 21:38

I'm guessing Byron's logic is that Isla couldn't lose her Mum having already lost one of her Dad's but I can see why Sadie is pissed off. Especially as he could have just got them both out at the same time!

Rummikub · 19/03/2025 22:31

Well I loved the last two episodes.

So nice to see madhe Harold Susan and Karl in the same scene. Karl’s stuttering when he saw Agnes/ madge.

Did Byron have to go past Sadie to get to Nicolette?

Or given them the blanket and sacrificed himself like a martyr. He didn’t say “I’ll be back“ or anything.

The Wendy but was lovely though.

I still don’t know why the window was open.

EBearhug · 19/03/2025 23:55

Obviously drama and all, but...

A garage with no tools? Bolt cutters, crow bar, something? No fire extinguishers, fire blankets? And not one of them had a phone in their pocket that they could have dialled 911 or whatever it is in Oz, and then someone in Ramsay Street? No, we'll just bang fruitlessly on the door.

I know! I was screaming at the tv about the ridiculousness of a garage without any form of tool to either cut open the chain, or break a dawned window. It was a stretch even for neighbours Grin

Agree Byron should have just said he was coming back for Sadie.

Amazing how calm and reasoned Shane was with Andrew when it was Sadie who was badly hurt. Compare that to his aggression when he didn't reckon Andrew was doing enough to save his poor boy!
Oh, and to make out that Max is just as much of a victim as everyone else, when it was actually Max who caused the problem in the first place by kidnapping, drugging, and leaving a gang leader for dead, is a bit rich.

I was the same what no bolt cutters? Or phones??

DrCoconut · 20/03/2025 12:14

Who’s betting on a Christa-Leo-Seb who’s the daddy storyline in a few weeks? And yes to Paul has somehow been set up.

WhyDoesItAlways · 20/03/2025 12:33

Seb barely got to wear his new cardy before being bumped off. Shame Envy

anotherlevel · 20/03/2025 12:33

Has anyone watched today’s?

BareBelliedSneetch · 20/03/2025 13:30

ooooooooooh

😱

TomBradysLeftKneecap · 20/03/2025 13:51

Praise the Neighbours Lord!!!

NoDishiForRishi · 20/03/2025 14:15

Ding Dong Seb’s gone!

NymphInYellow · 20/03/2025 16:25

Omg Paul's the dad, noooo! Although Jeffrey did a little smile, which does make me wonder if he's fixed it somehow. I hope they don't drag it out though.

The fire thing was weird. I couldn't work out why Sadie and Nic were trapped and the others just ran out. And there would definitely have been a fire extinguisher!

Krista and Leo. Meh. Don't care.

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 20/03/2025 18:40

I think the fire thing was that some of them were on one side of a fire line where they could get out (of the window, was it?) and Sadie and Nicolette were stuck on the other side of the fire line (I’m sure that’s not the correct definition!) closest to the chained garage door and couldn’t get out the same way as the rest of them? Agreed, it was peculiar.
Also, Krista and Leo, very meh. Glad we won’t be seeing Seb’s cardy much again, though.

Walkingtheplank · 20/03/2025 23:13

It was absolutely incredible that a garage would not have a fire extinguisher or bolt cutters. And I couldn't work out how they were locked in when they'd been able to get in OK.

I assume it was actually a drug dealer / lender who kills Seb.

And I expect Jeffrey hacked the records to make Paul the father - I hope so for Therese's sake.

BareBelliedSneetch · 21/03/2025 10:11

but then Paul thinks he’s the dad, bonds with the baby, gets all gooey about it, then has the baby ripped away as never his in the first place… will that trigger the return of evil Paul?! 😱

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 21/03/2025 10:17

I so like “normally Machiavellian” Paul as opposed to “truly Evil” Paul Grin I hope when the series finishes, he is “Quite Good” Paul!

Rummikub · 21/03/2025 16:13

leo and Krista look cold in the pool scenes

yes i think Paul will bond with the baby that’s not really his.

Rummikub · 21/03/2025 16:32

That end image was a bit too graphic for neighbours.
