Nice new thread for when the old one wears out.

For some reason the sound is slightly out of synch for me this morning, and suddenly it feels like a super-cheap, badly dubbed foreign soap 🤣

HoHoHoliday · 20/11/2024 11:26

The thing with Holly, it's just so silly. The idea that she pushed a luggage trolley - a completely normal thing in a hotel - out of the way because some VIP guests were arriving?
They've turned her character into a clumsy, ditzy, irresponsible person, like a very extreme version of her mother. But it doesn't sit right that she once was at medical school.

And Cara flatlined and had major surgery, yet woke up the next day seemingly fine. No doubt she'll be home in a day 🤨

Sad that Melanie has gone, she was one of the original/long standing characters that gave a bit of depth.

The mention of Max training to be a mechanic is nice - presumably we are soon getting that garage back open!

MiddleClassProblem · 20/11/2024 20:40

I didn’t like it the other day when Cara didn’t wake up properly and the other doctor told Remi to pull herself together as if she should be in full work mode when she had just been sitting at her bedside.

HoHoHoliday · 20/11/2024 22:36

I was thinking today, I'd really love it if there was actually a Crimesborough podcast, where people talked about all the crimes from Ramsay Street. That would be awesome!

MiddleClassProblem · 20/11/2024 22:38

Thy would be a great spin off like the erinsborough high webisodes.

DrCoconut · 20/11/2024 22:45

I'm still waiting for Chelsea to return with a baby...just as Paul and Therese have declared their undying love for each other.

Nooooooo!!

Oh, but they could actually, and then it would be that IT report-writing bloke's instead. It would only come out after Paul had started to fall for the baby of course.

BareBelliedSneetch · 20/11/2024 23:29

But then she will be an unfit mother and Paul and Therese can raise it! They can become the new Karl and Susan, raising wayward teens and turning them into wholesome Ramsey street kids.

MiddleClassProblem · 21/11/2024 00:52

Doesn’t Paul already know about IT man? I can’t remember if that bit came out when she was exposed

MiddleClassProblem · 21/11/2024 00:53

Or maybe she’d play the scrapy scrapy game with Leo to fake dna results 😂

NymphInYellow · 21/11/2024 11:05

Lucas! And he's still wearing the same leather jacket!

ArabellaFishwife · 21/11/2024 12:56

Harold, your coronation chicken? Aren't you vegetarian?

It’s so confusing how they’re all linked. How on earth is Roxy related to Shane?

Wasn't Roxy a Willis cousin or something to do with Therese

Roxy's mum, Gemma, is Shane's first cousin.

Gemma's dad (Tom) and Shane's dad (Max) were/are brothers. Madge was their sister.

gretathegremlin · 22/11/2024 22:04

"Wasn't Roxy a Willis cousin or something to do with Therese"

Roxy's Willis connection is that Gemma Ramsay married Adam Willis (Doug and Pam's eldest child). So Terese was her aunt by marriage (from her previous marriage to Brad).

suburburban · 22/11/2024 22:23

It's all a bit incestuous

suburburban · 26/11/2024 18:27

Yuck at Jane and Shane.

Why don't they lock their front door or does Nicolette have a key

Rummikub · 27/11/2024 02:34

I liked seeing Shane / jane together apart from running out the bedroom.

And references to old characters. And Lucas!

Not keen on max nor the other mechanic. Is he staying too?
Or Seb.

ImNotThereAmI · 27/11/2024 14:25

I found it daft that remi was asking Cara to research donors when she’d got back from hospital. Surely at age 40, and with all the recovery time from major abdominal surgery, it would not be a good idea / possible for Cara to be pregnant. Surely a doctor like Remi would realise this had put a stop to their pregnancy plans

I thought Cara and Remi had tests done previously and they got the go ahead for another pregnancy, hence the whole talking about donors.

Yes it was the bedroom bit after last week with Vic in a similar scene, it gets a bit much especially when she is supposedly looking after a Mike's daughter and her dgd and is so prissy

Yes they did but I’m talking about the operation. She’s had major abdominal surgery so I’d guess that becoming pregnant straight after that would be a very bad idea and that they’d have to wait ages for her body to recover properly

Aah I just took that as a "why not look whilst you're recovering" I assume it doesn't just happen straight away, so just have a browse... I mean that's the impression I got.

ImNotThereAmI · 27/11/2024 20:55

I just thought it was bad form on remi’s part who must have had an idea that Cara’s baby dream was over. After today’s episode it def is anyway!
