I actually think Ella's character is really interesting and it's raised some good questions about forgiveness and redemption. Certainly a hell of a lot more interesting than at least half the villagers.

I don't understand why Ella went mad with Mandy for putting her on social media...when everyone in the village knows who she really is?? Hardly hiding with a new identity!

@Fleamaker I don't think she wanted Joanne's family to know where she is or anyone that knew her as Ruth. Child killers (as in children who kill) in real life are given new identities so they can start again when they are released.

This may have been answered but can’t remember what Jai has done to Caleb to make him want revenge. Seems as though he is scamming him over something. Signed something but I don’t know what and hiding the money. Ruby seems to know about it.

@misty123456 I don't think Jai has done anything to Caleb. I think Caleb is after any business with a connection to Kim. He's sabotaging the haulage yard by getting that phoney inspector into Jimmy.

Jai did own part of the Hop/Hyde although he was selling that to Laurel so maybe Caleb is just being a nasty twat again and conning Jai out of his money. I think he said to Jai about investing in that new warehouse he's bought so presumably Jai has 'lent' him all his money to hide it from laurel and Caleb will steal it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I quite like it when Jai goes all evil. He's very good at it! Laurel has no sympathy for him finding out his biological father killed his dad and seems to think he should be fine with it

Not bothered about Laurel or Gabby but hate, hate, hate Nicola. Always has been a horrible character and not changed over the years. Agree that Gabby dresses like Bernice- all she needs is a beige mac.

Not that keen on Jai but can't understand Caleb's obsession with ripping everyone off.

Emmerdale doesn't seem to have an end point in sight for any of their stories. They just cobble a load of old nonsense together with no explanation for it.

They killed Rishi to bring Amit in and he's gone already.

What was the point of Rose and why did we never find out what her connection with Ruby was?

The way they keep bringing in random characters is as if they owe the actors a favour and tell them they'll give them a few months work to tide them over never mind that none of it makes sense to the viewers.
