What a complete waste of time, not sure what the point of this is

JewelleryCat · 05/09/2024 20:17

I’m liking this heart to heart

strugglingwithlife · 05/09/2024 20:18

Spot on Charity

Allthehorsesintheworld · 05/09/2024 20:18

Do the writers think we’ve forgotten everything Tom has done and they need to remind us ?

PrincessScarlett · 05/09/2024 20:18

Yes this last segment is brilliant.

funnybones82 · 05/09/2024 20:21

I'm worried that it'll get to the end and it's all been a dream and she hasn't actually told anyone

It better not be!!

strugglingwithlife · 05/09/2024 20:23

Poor Belle 😢

JewelleryCat · 05/09/2024 20:26

That is Emmerdale at its best, just that heart to heart with Charity

Fleamaker · 05/09/2024 20:26

Was that last scene real then??

startingoveragainagain · 05/09/2024 20:26

Oh that statement bugs me - How can anyone not have been affected by that.

Jitterybugs · 05/09/2024 20:26

Fleamaker · 05/09/2024 20:26

Was that last scene real then??

Oh God I hope so.

ilovebrie8 · 05/09/2024 20:27

Wow 😞😥hope that was real …

PrincessScarlett · 05/09/2024 20:27

Charity and Belle scenes were excellent. Beginning of the end time and I hope Charity makes that nasty abusive twat suffer.

JaneJeffer · 05/09/2024 20:30

Awful episode

Awful episode

Really? You didn’t like the heart to heart either?

Allthehorsesintheworld · 05/09/2024 20:45

Has anyone looked at the itv/advice page? It gives everything. If a woman was in bits like Belle she’d never be able to scan the whole page. And the one for victims of DV is Refuge which might not compute in a stressed person as help for DV.
Also in the Google listing this is the first result : ITV/advice Emmerdale - Men's Advice Line Men's Advice Line is a confidential helpline for male victims of domestic abuse and the frontline workers supporting them.

Why don’t they give specific names eg Women’s Aid on screen.

RaraRachael · 05/09/2024 20:58

I actually quite liked that episode but I had read that it was Belle seeing 3 possible scenarios of how her life might end up. Otherwise I'd have been totally confused. Hopefully after the heart to heart with Charity there will be no more of Tom's abuse, the rest of the village will be ashamed that they didn't believe Belle and we won't have to suffer this story till Xmas.

I agree that Nicola is a horrible, vile character and I wish she'd stop wearing blouses tucked into her trousers - it doesn't suit her for a very obvious reason

BirthdayRainbow · 05/09/2024 21:08

Jitterybugs · 05/09/2024 20:06

Let’s hope this scene is real and she’s finally opening up to Charity

I'm at this point now. Hoping it is real, worrying it isn't.

JewelleryCat · 05/09/2024 21:26

The scene is real, I read Digital Spy afterwards and a bit of the article said “All of these possible futures culminated with Belle deciding to open up to Charity Dingle about enduring physical and emotional abuse from Tom.”

JaneJeffer · 05/09/2024 21:33

By the time it got to the scene with Charity I was so agitated by the whole thing @JewelleryCat

They could have done that scene without all the "vote for us at the NTAs" imaginary scenes.

I'm really annoyed that nobody except Charity believed Belle and her brother who works next door hasn't seen Tom coming and going all the time.

🤬

Argh! My head hurts

the charity thing was too little far to late

TheFormidableMrsC · 05/09/2024 22:43

I've just finished watching. Very confusing at first even though I had read spoilers. The scene with Charity brought tears to my eyes I admit. Let's hope this is the beginning of the end for that wanker.

rockstarshoes · 05/09/2024 22:49

I might have hit rewind about 3 times to watch Kane give Tim a good kicking!

I know it wasn't a 'real' scene but blimey I have waited a long time for that!

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 05/09/2024 23:05

Really don't like these weird one off episodes the soaps do but the last part was very moving and utterly believable.
