The whole handshake thing is so tedious and cringey. It makes Paul Hollywood look like a knob and the contestants look like fawning sycophants.

I agree but I feel like she's in a constantly very nervous state so not sure if it's that, like when a shy person gives off rude vibes unintentionally.
I suppose she's only 19 so it might be intimidating.

It's not just her voice, it's her mannerisms and facial expressions.
