Hopefully this thread will see some closure to the unpleasantness in the form of findings; as well as the build up to the beginning.

I didn't know till now how much I needed Dr Chris or Dr Xand to do this.

I love Toyah Wilcock - she was in Prince Edward's team in the Royal Knockout Tournament, hehe. She'll be great. Wynne Evans/Gio Compario always seems like a fun chap to have around.

I thought I'd seen somewhere that Nick Knowles is going to be in this one.

Was saddened by Giovanni and Graziano. I thought that, after winning with Rose and the two 'travel' series he's made with Anton, that the BBC had potentially created a bit of a monster in Gio's ego, but I was very sorry for what transpired with Amanda. What she's had to endure has been horrendous. I'd never really liked her as an actress pre-Strictly, but I have immense sympathy for her now. Her interview with Krishnan G-M was so sad to watch. I hope she will be OK. I always fancied Graziano the most out of the dancers and was shocked when it came out about him. But being that much of a sh-t renders him much less agreeable. I wonder if he will be a farm labourer for the rest of his days. I'm sorry for his wife.

I saw Toyah in 2002 in the West End in Calamity Jane. I took my niece. Toyah was excellent.. She's tiny. Wonder who will get her as a partner?

My impression of Nikita on CBB was that he he didn't have much time for middle-aged women. He's due an older contestant so it would be interesting to see if he could pull off a good partnership with someone like Toyah.

I hadn’t heard of the dr but by the end of the series I find it doesn’t usually matter. Plenty of celebs I hadn’t heard of in previous years and they turn out ok.

When I looked it up it said the release date is Tuesday 13th August 2024 on BBC1 and iPlayer.

Vito must be due a duffer! Won last year and in the final the year before..surely he won't get another good one this year! Please let Kai have a good one!

If it wasn't for the height difference, I would say Kai and Toyah as he seems to have fallen into the Anton-replacement camp with the older ladies.

I'm assuming Wynne & Amy will be matched, if she's fit enough for a celeb partner.

Wynne Evans should be good. He has musicality, performing skills and charisma. I’m delighted to have someone Welsh to get behind. And there’s a fairy tale castle just north of Cardiff that would make a great setting to meet his pro for the first time.

Oh no, I didn’t know Toyah had skeletal issues. I hope it’s not going to cause her too much pain? And yes, I agree with the ‘big personality’ thing. I hope she’s in for as long as possible.

I’ve heard of everyone apart from the tv doctor. Which probably means she’ll end up being my favourite!.

Wynne will have charisma and musicality. Great choice.

The clues for tomorrow's reveals are all a bit 3-2-1. 'In transit' made me think of astronomy and Maggie Aderin-Pocock, but it's probably a celebrity van driver. The lasagna reference made me think of Garfield and, the highly improbable, Andrew, but it's probably just someone who's done adverts for Iceland.

Oh, the Sun has just leaked the entire cast. Most of them already rumoured. Best surprise? Sarah Hadland. Miranda will love that.

Hang on, if the Sun's leak is correct there are only 6 female celebs in the cast. That would be the first time it's ever been so low and a bit shit if true. Diversity ..... except for women.

They might have had an uphill battle to get any women on board this year.
