Olympics on Discovery+ - can you cancel after the first month?

We’ve been bemused as to why the BBC coverage is so dire but have just read up on the situation with the broadcast rights.

Discovery+ is offering a month at £3.99 but it’s not clear if you can cancel after that month. It says it renews unless cancelled at a higher cost in Jan 2024 but doesn’t say when you can cancel.

Has anyone signed up in the last week who can confirm?

Yes. I took out the monthly subscription to discovery yesterday and cancelled it today so that it won't renew after a month. I did it through Amazon prime video rather than directly on the discovery website. Literally only want it for DD to watch the gymnastics...
