So s5 of 22 kids

I know many know what's in it due to
Instragram and Fb and media

Apparently they are preparing to move to their dream home - but we know that didn't happen

I think like the last few series it will be fake

Shame as loves watching it when was 16,18.19 kids etx

Even s1 of 22 kids was ok

But I also love this kind of programme so will be watching even tho some are fake and planned

Just watching the first one, poor little Casper. Talk about setting him up to fail 😡.

As others have said the rest of the boys at that trial would have been playing at local clubs for years. I doubt any of the radford kids have done weekend/evening activities of any sort until they got to an age they could do it themselves.

And that fecking little grin Noel gave when he was telling Casper. Gives me the creeps.

They're all emotionally neglected, they haven’t got a clue.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/08/2024 18:24

Ee5 tonight

Tikis is being bullied at school due to her disability

We'll why didn't they have the op when offered it a few series ago

And sue turns best selling author

I think she walked on the ice, rather than skated

BellieEllie · 19/08/2024 22:38

She did walk on the ice rather than glide, she’s obviously never been ice skating before in her life and yet her dream has always been to be an ice skater. You think her parents would’ve taken her ice skating before then, same as Casper never being to a football match ever despite wanting to be a footballer. Obviously too many kids to realise what their talents/dreams are unless Channel 5 are asking them for content.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/08/2024 08:33

Agree about the ice skating

Her first lesson /waited for years / why if a dream ?

And sadly due to her leg injuries she will never be a good ice skater

But I can't talk

I would need a polar bear 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/08/2024 08:34

She's walking not skating

The way dad announced he had managed to get a private lesson, it's not that hard !
It wasn't Jane Torville or Christopher Dean that came and did it !

I don't suppose we will ever see her at the skating rink again.

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 20/08/2024 10:24

and as for the book !

of course they/she needed a ghostwriter and paid for one !

family tree huh ! another money making exercise.

Limer · 20/08/2024 13:52

OMG the family tree, None of the children understood what cousins/aunties/nieces were! And what a depressing thought, hundreds of grandchildren will be coming along.

Poor Tillie, airing her whole life in a reality show is only going to give the bullies a new opportunity. That ice skating was awful, she couldn’t do it at all. And shame on Noel & Sue for never taking her skating before now – well, let’s face it, they only do anything if it’s a freebie.

FFS Sue of course people don’t have so many children now they’ve got access to contraception! “Living history” – more like a living example of NOT what to do. Glorifying a 17-year-old impregnating a 13-year-old.

No surprise that they needed a ghostwriter, and also no surprise that they couldn’t remember anything about when the children were younger.

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 20/08/2024 14:49

Sue forgets that many children didn't survive in the past, she never said these women that she found had 20+ surviving children, just that they had had 20 + children.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/08/2024 18:23

Course they had a ghost writer

In the blurb of book

The challenges of raising 22 children were manifold, but they met each one with a resilience that became the hallmark of the Radford family

They have never raised 22 kids !!!

Yes awful alfie died and feel for her losing a child but enough of the 22 kids all the time

It's just their schtick

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/08/2024 18:49

I know but bugs me 😂

E6 and possibly last one

Noel decides whether to find his birth mum

Wonder is she wants to know him due to getting a 13 yr preg

Harley wants to adopt Millie's eldest

OP posts:
RainbowConnection1 · 25/08/2024 20:34

Just watching the newest episode. What is going on with Sue's hair?! At least three different lengths, colours and styles. I don't think the continuity person will be winning any prizes.

purpleme12 · 25/08/2024 20:36

What happened with Ophelia's dad then? Did he just not want to know Ophelia?

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 25/08/2024 22:29

Most of that was ridiculous..

Noel and his birth mother. Why is it assumed she is still alive ?
and he goes on about missing his adoptive mother, you would think he stayed at home until his 30's/40's but oh no, he has been married to Sue for year thus has lived with her for so much longer than he ever lived at home.

Surely his adoptive Mum and dad would have known what name his birth mother gave him ?!!!

Sue's mum, at one point Sue said it wasn't the same any more as they are not around the corner from each other any more, so did Mum move in the last x years ? as Sue certainly hasn't.
Then surprise surprise let's make a room for Mum in the house, the house that doesn't have enough space for all their children, that they have to beg / have a lottery to have their own room when one moves out.
and then Mum worries about leaving her dog if she stays at Sue's ? bring the dog with you ! What is one more when there are 7 in the house already !!!!

Can single men just go around adopting other people's children.
and he didn't change his mind on holiday about asking to adopt, he had an engagement ring with him so he knew he was asking her to marry him.

Couldn't not end a series without a holiday, a Florida one of course !

I see the next series starts next week.

The last 6 episodes felt like they were actually part of the previous series which ended suddenly without completion

I am far too invested in the programme ! but like others i have watched every series for years.

Limer · 27/08/2024 08:45

Last child finishing nursery – Noel’s delighted at not having to pay nursery fees whereas Sue is genuinely grieving at losing her identity as a baby-making machine. God how depressing. She’s still got 18 kids living under her roof, how about parenting some of them?

Noel’s got it right – Sue’s replacing babies with dogs. But all she wants to do is cuddle them, she doesn’t walk them or train them.

Who's lost their bedroom to make a room for Sue's mum?

Interesting to see Harley actually playing with his children, he seems like a decent young man. I was delighted to hear Millie say she doesn’t want any more babies! But then my heart sank at the end when Katie did her baby reveal. Why on earth is she having a baby with that useless lump Connor?

Continuity-wise it's obvious that C5 only send the crew for a few key days in the year - the dog show, last day of nursery, Noel visiting the therapist etc. then just stitch the footage together without caring that those events actually happened months apart. Then they have to fabricate interesting bits to prop up the story, e.g. Sue in the bath when her mum calls, child saying "Nanna's got the police at her house".

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2024 20:03

Yes the hair lrovee how crap the time line is

Why would Noel aka Robert pay for nursery. Surely she only did the free 15 hrs - that's all mini blondes did

Cookie winning a prize ffs - really dog competitions 😂. and yes she is replacing dogs and kids Noel !!

Not sure who Ophelia dad is - did he know she was preg and didn't want to know ?

Sure she will have more then 3 !!! Make my words

OP posts:
purpleme12 · 27/08/2024 20:25

I also thought it was strange when they said about the nursery fees.

Sue doesn't work so the children would have all had the free hours wouldn't they. They wouldn't have had to pay anything surely

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2024 20:53

Unless they did all day so 30hrs

Sue doesn't work as such so they would have only got 15

I wasn't emotional with dd leaving pre school

OP posts:
purpleme12 · 27/08/2024 20:55

I just find it hard to believe they'd put them in for more hours than the free hours

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2024 22:25

Well yes if had to pay 😂

OP posts:
purpleme12 · 27/08/2024 22:27

Yeah, with knowing what we see on Tele.
They want them home don't they
And Sue doesn't work so she can easily pick them up in morning or whatever time

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/09/2024 12:34

Special tonight where they share their list important lessons in raising a happy family
