So s5 of 22 kids

I know many know what's in it due to
Instragram and Fb and media

Apparently they are preparing to move to their dream home - but we know that didn't happen

I think like the last few series it will be fake

Shame as loves watching it when was 16,18.19 kids etx

Even s1 of 22 kids was ok

But I also love this kind of programme so will be watching even tho some are fake and planned

Re Casper he has been keen on football for years. So is Oscar. He is also old enough to understand that he was being given the opportunity to do the trials for the tv show. That it is staged and done for the cameras. I doubt he was under any illusions

Casper might have been keen on football for years, but it was clear as day that the child doesn’t play for a team. He was taken to paid trails, because that’s what they are, under the impression that he was the next Ronaldo and was going to get picked for a premier league team. That was never going to happen and it was cruel. He’s 11yrs old, not very streetwise and quite young for his age. What they did to him was vile. And as for it being a “rite of passage” to take your boys to a football match, when has that bloke ever taken the others? He hasn’t. He only does anything if it’s for a storyline as does his wife.

I’ve seen them on holiday, recently, with the Walkers on their socials so it’s a bare faced lie to say they haven’t shared it.

They don’t get a free pass because Sophie Walker has died. If they didn’t want to be trashed they shouldn’t have done a fake arse show and set their kids up to fail.

You mis understand me.
The whole show is made up and fake. The children know this as much as anyone. Casper knew what the storyline was and played along with it. He is not distraught by it because he knew going in that it was fake. For him it's a fun day out playing football in front of the cameras.

Just as a lot of the storylines are fake. Luke and Chloe are as close as close can be - not according to the tv program. Ditto the other storylines - they are made up and the children who understand and wish to participate do.

Yes they showed their holiday. And the Walkers in the background. But at no stage did they show or mention that the reason they were where they were was because of Sophie's treatment. Nor used it for their own benefit.

But you are determined to hate them and in your own words 'trash' them. Which tbh says more about you than them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/07/2024 14:01

I get they had her permission to use on the show but she has Sadly died

I think they should have removed Sophie from the clip in the beginning. Easily could have been edited

Casper May knew what was happening but he so wasn't ready for a trial

Why doesn't he do weekly lessons /lock about with a local team ?

Yes lots of it is fake

Why

I have watched since 16kids and counting

It wasn't fake then

It showed usual day to day stuff and how Hard with lots of children

The 22 bit annoys me as well

They have never taken 22 kids away. Older lot are 20's and 30's so not kids and due sadly to Alfie's death - it's only ever been 21 doing stuff

Yes I saw the tribute to Sophie at the end I just feel the clip at the beginning was wrong

I hope in e2 it's edited out

I don’t misunderstand you at all.

The whole show is fake. All of it, which is totally pathetic. Casper is an immature 11yo. He cannot possibly understand how much he’s being manipulated to appear in a story line. When he starts secondary school, in a few weeks he won’t understand why people are laughing at him because he was told to say he was the next Ronaldo on the telly. He probably won’t even make the school team. It’s down right cruel, and can’t be defended, but as long as it pays for Sue’s holidays to Florida her camper van she couldn’t give a fuck.

You were the first person on this thread to use the word trash, no one else had up until then. I responded to you. I don’t like them no. I don’t think anyone should be able to make money out of the fact that they have too many children to care for properly especially not in the circumstances that the Radfords did.

purpleme12 · 23/07/2024 14:12

The name is just like a lot of programmes' names, just to catch attention. Like a newspaper headline

takingitsleazy · 23/07/2024 14:44

Casper looks like a lovely lad but really small for an 11yo.

I feel so sorry for him starting secondary school where people will have seen that storyline.

Fizbosshoes · 23/07/2024 14:55

Some programmes are based on real life but post a disclaimer at the beginning, that parts are made up for dramatic purposes. I haven't seen the new series but this wasn't the case in previous series - when they were clearly scripted and made up scenarios - but was presented as a candid look at Britain's biggest family.

And gullible people believe it- like they believed that the pie shop was ever supporting a family of 18+

I think some of the older boys have chosen not to be in the channel 5 programmes but lots of the children are too young to consent to their lives (actual or pretend scenarios) being used as entertainment.

tothelefttotheleft · 23/07/2024 15:21

How do they go away so much with 7 dogs? What happens to them when they are away?

Older ones stay behind maybe?

I always wonder about the dogs too.

needtonamechangeforthis1 · 23/07/2024 16:28

@TheFairyCaravan No you used the word trashed!!!!

You said and I quote 'If they didn’t want to be trashed they shouldn’t have done a fake arse show and set their kids up to fail.'

Your words not mine!!!

Read you own posts back!!!!

TheFairyCaravan · 23/07/2024 16:37

And perhaps now is not the time to be trashing them.

That's from your post @needtonamechangeforthis1 . I was responding directly to you saying now is not the time to be trashing them. HTH!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/07/2024 19:09

It's very rare rhey take all 21 so guess older ones stay and so the pie shop and walk /look after the dogs

The amount of holidays they have , the shop that feeds them all (like the mn chicken 😂 ) must still be open or else be shut 12-14 w of the year wrh being away every school holiday

I used to like watching them when it was a few programmes a year and they didn't post much on social media. Now they can't fart without it being in The Sun., they have to stage content and it's all very obviously put on for the cameras. The more I watch, the more I think it's very obvious that Sue has some sort of learning disability.
Does anyone remember the other families that used to be on the Counting programmes? They all starting breeding dogs when their ovaries packed in, most of them split up and did tell-alls where they said getting pregnant was part of domestic abuse. I still follow some of them, would never admit that in real life though!

Which families out of interest? I used to watch those other programmes as well, the one that stays in my mind is the one where they had 1 son and about 10 daughters, most of their kids were teens/grown ups and were all quite glam, and the mum worked nights at a petrol station

SoSoller · 24/07/2024 13:01

If it is true that some of the storylines are created and scripted for the show, then surely they should put some sort of disclaimer at the beginning of the episode to state that?

They are the Lewises, they are still together and the mum seems to put them in the paper on a weekly basis. The Salim's are still together as are the Hanns.
The Freers, Sullivans and the two other families split up. The mums were called Amanda and Emma, can't remember their surnames.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/07/2024 16:45

The Suttons - 11 children
The Sutton family consists of Nicole and Joseph Sutton and their 11 children, all between the ages of 14 and six months.

The Seymours - Nine children
The weekly budget is not a problem for Layden and Fran Seymour, who live in Suffolk with their nine children.

The Sullivans - 11 children
Ben and Zoe Sullivan lead a very busy life and their day starts at 5am.
By 7.30am the children are fed, washed and dressed and Ben goes off to work as an RAF aircraft engineer.

Are these families part of a new series?

purpleme12 · 24/07/2024 17:24

No they're discussing a series that used to be on
I think it was years ago now

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/07/2024 20:15

Sorry no they are the next largest family's

They were in the original large families in 15 kids and counting

OP posts:
SoSoller · 24/07/2024 21:05

All those families featured on the original “15 kids and counting” or whatever it was called.

I think the Radfords had another 5 or so more babies after those shows aired, just to break the record and line their pockets even more from all the media attention it drew

AutumnLeaves1990 · 26/07/2024 09:59

I absolutely cannot stand them. The Estate agent actor was laughable. Awful acting. The house is on the market now so complete bullcrap. Their whole show is like a car crash. It's disgusting that the children need subtitles. Awful speech. Casper looks about 8. Awful building his hopes up like that 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

AutumnLeaves1990 · 26/07/2024 10:00

TheFairyCaravan · 21/07/2024 22:22

I watched.

I hate them, I don’t make any bones about that but setting Casper up to do that football trial then breaking his heart, just for a storyline, was absolutely disgusting. I don’t know why anyone would do that to their child. Anything for airtime and money.

Sue said they’d decided against the house because they didn’t want a mortgage in their 50s &60s, another source said they’d been turned down for a mortgage yet they did that cock and bull story about the vendors pulling out. They’re pathological liars.

They forget that they post literally everything online. You have to have a good memory to be a liar 🤣🤦‍♂️

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/07/2024 20:56

I will watch on +1

I have just watched it.

Without giving anything away, I was saying ' selfish ' to my TV during some of it.
