I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

The Ayo and Jess thing is weird. Ayo's brother didn't need to say anything unless he knows Ayo so well and can see he likes Mimi and is just trying to do the right thing by Jess or trying to win. I like Jess actually and have gone off Mimi but I feel bad that Jess feels like second best sometimes. She shouldn't as Ayo chose her.

Mimi does talk very slowly and monotone the point I find it a bit odd.

I can't remember who said it but agree about Nicole jumping on her brother (if it was her brother?) nearly naked.

I still think the thongs are gross.

Especially in the hot weather with numerous people living in one house and sitting down in their thongs

Ayo is making more of it by saying Jess needs space. He's acting like it's a done deal that Mimi is the one because of what his brother said.

Talent was a bit thin on the ground there! Bless Jessy on her stilts though, that was very different and a cool thing to do. I thought Mimi sang ok, but it wasn't a show-stopping performance. I also quite liked Reuben's effort. It was charming and even though he was nervous, he smiled and tried to put on a good show.

I think Ayo did the right thing telling Jess what his brother had said. It was transparent and open and she would have found out soon enough anyway. I thought it was the right course of action, even if it wasn't the easiest and they both handled it fairly well, all things considered.

I also hate the fact that the girls have their bare arses out all of the time. I'm from the school of 'leaving something to the imagination', but that definitely isn't where LI is coming from!

I’m so not keen on the bare arses! Maybe I would feel differently if I was 23 and had an arse people wanted to see in a thong 😂.

Ayo is clearly able to communicate effectively when he wants to. Interesting that he is able to rise to the challenge when speaking to another man (Josh) and not when speaking to a woman. I wonder if there is an element of him taking Jess’ and Mimii’s affections for granted. I could see why Jess kept asking him last night if there was something wrong as he was acting very off with her and was making himself emotionally unavailable. He clearly made an effort to be more open with her by telling her but she must still feel like she is talking to a wall.

Sean and Joey’s “talents” were pretty shit. It’s telling that their talents involved chatting shit about other people.

• Nicole just seemed liked she was as doing the lap dance / heartbeat challenge again
• Reuben has a nice voice but his song was a bit cringe
• Matilda's is a bit silly but seems to be making them laugh
• Not sure about Grace's yoga class but was worth it for Ayo's "what's that called again?"
• Josh's is silly too and I don't like Mimi's reactions to things seems fake
• Joey's rap was quite good and I felt bad for him at the end but he shouldn't have gone down the secret mission route!

I think Ayo would ruin Jess if they tried to continue the relationship. She'd have to work too hard to keep him.

She needs someone who can match her energy and Ayo needs someone who's happy to exist in companionable silence, confident in the knowledge that he's there because he wants to be.

I really don't like Joey but reluctantly will also admit I thought his rap was great! I think he should have been on the potential winners shortlist for that.

I agree that Ayo's brother has planted / nurtured that seed of doubt that's been in his mind since he came back from Casa. He is clearly close to his family and influenced by what they think. But it feels to me that he was already torn and deep down regretting ditching Mimii.

It reminds me of that psychology experiment when they leave people alone with stale doughnuts and say I'm going to get you fresh ones in a min. But people still eat the stale ones. Ayo just wanted what was there in front of him at Casa and acted on impulse / couldn't delay his gratification and wait to go back to Mimii. Typical man.

I thought his rap was awful... I'm not sure if the words were any good as he couldn't seem to fit them into any rhythm at all. Much preferred Gemma Owen and Paige from previous series 😳

One thing is sure; he didnt write it himself!
I still feel sorry for him though.

I really like Reuben... I think he brings a lot to the table. He clearly has an ego... but not so much that he lets it get in the way of anything. He also appears really respectful and stands up for what he believes in.

I like Reuben too and don't find him cringy. Sean star-fucking Joey is way more cringy in my opinion. And Joey is a festival of cringe, even though I think he thinks he is cooler than anyone else in there. However, different things cringe different people out, so it is hard to be objective!

Sean most definitely thinks he is coming out a "personality" with a million pound empire, porsche contract and his own "candy man" moniker.

Its why he worships Joey Essex.

Hes coming out a laughing stock and is only there because of Matilda.

I don't find Reuben cringe. He gets stuck in and does cringey things like whistling show tunes with an umbrella but that don't give a fuck upbeat energy comes across far cooler than not wanting to be seen trying in front of the other boys. See Sean making it an advertisement for bloody jelly sweets

Another vote for Reuben. I like that he doesn’t take himself too seriously and seems confident in his opinions.

I don’t think Ayo or Jess are a good match for Ayo. I think he’ll destroy Jess’s self confidence (and it already seems to be low). The way he told Jess what his brother had said was really crass and he could have told her at any point before they get out. I don’t think it had to be the same day!

I agree that Sean thinks he’s coming out to an adoring public a la Sam Thompson. He’s giving Suella Braverman and Sam Prince at best. His sweets will be in £1 baskets reduced alongside copies of “Spare.” His dummy comment to Josh was so antagonistic. Sean is vile.

Everything about him makes me cringe. He gives me the most almighty ick. It's the way that he has such a high opinion of himself, the way he lunged in for a kiss with Grace when she was mad at him (I was very glad she pushed him off), and absolutely every single thing about him.
That Singin' in The Rain routine had me practically turning inside out with cringe / repulsion.
