We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through the three series of of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently part way through series 8 of Spooks. Having recently witnessed the demise of Adam Carter in the last series, he has been replaced by Lucas North.

We are in the final stages of series 9. We start series 10 very soon.

Well, that was a great episode, the best of the series and a fitting finale. Enjoyed that.

I am sure we'd be able to swap the day round if you like eejit.

There are 7 episodes in series 1 of Downton. If we start next week we will be finished on 11th December or if we miss next week, it will be on 18th December. If eejit isn't sure of being back, shall we wait until 6th November to start or will running up to the week before Christmas be a problem?

Yep, I can do any day except Monday next week, if that's preferred

I won;t be able to do 11 December but would be ok if we juggle the day around that week.

I can't do 6 Nov but doesn't matter really as I can always pick up with episode on the 13th.

Advance notice, I am waiting for a minor operation (as a day case) and shouldn't be long now but definitely won't be up to watching anything on my return home. When I know the date for sure, and if it impacts on our watchalongs, I will let you all know.

Also, how are we watching this? As mentioned before, I've got access to two ad free versions of Downton, but if others are using the streaming service with ads, we'll need to factor in some short breaks when they crop up, so we are all reasonably in sync.

I bought the DVD on eBay for £1.99. Not tried it out yet but I am presuming there won't be any adverts - a bit like when we watched Soldier Soldier on DVD.

I am hoping to watch on Netflix but will check that and if not it will be ITVx for me. Will sort out this weekend.
