I'm not actually surprised- I was more surprised she was doing it- and actually I'm willing to bet she hasn't pulled out, he has. But by making it look like she is concentrating on her singles now she is doing well, it doesn't look like he just ducked out, rather than lose again.

I think they knew this was likely, to be honest.

At least they can put someone else on Centre later now, if it's still raining, make up some of the matches (silver linings and all that).

I think it's the right decision- it's Emma's time now, Andy had his farewell the other day. Seems odd to carry on (and really, I don't think he's as fit as he would want to be).

I think play may be starting on the outside courts again soon.
