Talking of good players in the invitational events, I see Cabal and Farah are playing in the men's doubles. I hadn't realised they'd retired but apparently they did last September!

Martina Navratilova 😍is playing in the mixed invitation doubles, 4th match on court 2. Couple of the earlier matches are to finish so I'm estimating maybe tea-time?

After a lot of the press - Djok will probably find in his next match there wil be actual booing. And he will only have himself to blame, for goading the crowds. I'm sure there will be Aussie fans who will be happy to oblige .

When there was only one men's singles semi final in 2022 they moved the ladies' doubles semis to centre court so hoping we will get one of the men's doubles semis instead. Gutted not to be seeing a final though. Blooming British weather!

Oh nice, hoping for a bit of a Djok discussion. I have always stuck up for him - I really like him as a player and his focus etc -

But urgh, really did not like his reaction last night. Especially in front of his kids. It really is all about him.

I saw him play Jacob Fearnley last week and everyone was really cheering for Jacob - because he was a British wildcard and he's so young and he was on centre court - how exciting for him! It wasn't against Joke - he's had his fair share of the limelight, fgs. But he was moaning all the way through about the crowd. No one was booing him! Plenty near me (Americans mainly!) were cheering for him.

Then when Sue Barker came on to do the Murray tribute, the whole court sounded like they were booing - we were saying Suesuesoooo. The acoustics on CC makes the sound bounce around and can distort.

Every player gets a derisory jeer or a boo if they argue with the umpire or delay a match - it's not Djoke specific. Urgh. What. A. Baby.

Jelena looked less than impressed also. I suspect she may spend a lot of her life Gritting Her Teeth.
