DS2 has informed that there is some football on at 8pm that he’s GOT to watch

Missed the last set, but looks like Carlos found his game in the end. Tiafoe at least pushed him, though I don't think either played brilliantly to start.

Hello all. I have spent today painting while listening (occasionally managing a glimpse at) Carlitos v BigFoe. What a good contest. Felt sad for Tiafoe.

We’ve got the tent up but it’s raining so we’re all huddled under a small gazebo. Looks like it’s easing off so might attempt the barbecue soon!

It got quite warm here, but it keeps looking like it might rain again.

The forecast for the weekend looks absolutely miserable, they’re going to be really challenged to get any matches played outdoors.

Maybe they should start early on the show courts and put as many matches on those as possible this weekend (or is that too sensible?)

The football is still on here - my only contribution so far has been to be pleased that Spain won as it would make Rafa and Carlos happy

It makes no sense at all, that the Medvedev match- that is still to finish- is on court 2, a) wasn't put on tonight to finish or b) put on a show court tomorrow.

And now they are not continuing with the match that is still playing - they are going to show bloody TAW!

I have found the match- it didn't seem to be on iplayer. I have found it on Virgin 991, which is the one remaining red button 'channel'.

I think it’s time they called it a day for Today at Wimbledon - with the show court matches potentially not finishing until 11pm and catch up services etc it’s not really relevant any more

I did really like it back in the day though and I still remember lockdown TAW at Wimbledon with the wheelie bin challenge - was there even any tennis that year?

Boris doing the Wheelie bin challenge was a highlight of lockdown, Fizzy . There was no tennis, they showed old matches from yesteryear for a fortnight. It was quite good actually. .
