That is a huge bedroom, could fit 3 of mine in there

Scampmum · 09/04/2008 20:53

is it not ridiculously, pointlessly big? Or have I been brainwashed by living in London and being a total tightwad about utility bills?

jingleyjen · 09/04/2008 20:53

should have paid for turf for the garden

themoon66 · 09/04/2008 20:53

Twiglett · 09/04/2008 20:53

yogimum · 09/04/2008 20:53

I've got a galleried landing and its permenantly hanging with cobwebs... nightmare to clean.

jingleyjen · 09/04/2008 20:54

styled more grandly... what kind of phrase is that?

Sexonlegs · 09/04/2008 20:55

Wow, such different prices!

Scampmum · 09/04/2008 20:55

£350k variation!

Twiglett · 09/04/2008 20:55

350K difference

estate agents are wankers aren't they?

Scampmum · 09/04/2008 20:55

If that's late last summer sun I reckon they'll be lucky... footballers the wildcard, I guess.

MrsDougRoss · 09/04/2008 20:57

Scampmum · 09/04/2008 20:57

£1.3m! footballers...

jingleyjen · 09/04/2008 20:57

is she pregnant again?

jingleyjen · 09/04/2008 20:58

do like that bathroom..

spub · 09/04/2008 21:01

Jingleyjen,
I wondered exactly that! The shot of her at the end did make it look as if she was "with child".
Would this be number 3?

Tommy · 09/04/2008 21:04

don't know why she kept talking about WAGs - it is only Southampton after all...

What did the other one look like at the end - we had a visitor just as it was finishing

jingleyjen · 09/04/2008 21:08

I thought the other one looked pretty from the outside but big hall and little sitting room was wrong inide.

margosbeenplayingwithmynoonoo · 10/04/2008 12:00

I think they have the potential to improve the fascia. I would clad it in shiplap and make it look all New England/Wisteria Lane. And paint those damn window frames a sensible colour.

It looks horrible at the moment. If they get people through the door, they've sold it.

mejon · 10/04/2008 14:35

Yes, it was £750 a week for that mobile-home and it wasn't that big either! I couldn't understand why they hadn't got themselves a large static caravan to live in the garden instead of camping out in a house with no roof. We're planning on doing the same thing (living in a caravan whilst house is done) later this year. You can certainly buy a decent looking one for around £6000 and some are much cheaper.

MrsDougRoss · 16/04/2008 19:54

5 mins till we have more madness
