Wow, what an unbelievable story, can't quite believe I've missed it on the news.
Anyone with an interest in personality disorders and true crime will love this.

Imposter: The Man Who Came Back from the Dead review – the absolute zenith of true-crime TV

Fascinating and terrifying, this tale of a man who woke from a Covid coma in Glasgow accused of being a serial sex offender on the FBI’s most wanted list is the most bizarre, mind-boggling true-crime series yet

UPDATE:
Rather than start a new thread and in the hope we eventually get another episode of this.

He finally admitted he wasn't an Irish orphan called Arthur Knight but Nicholas Ross/Nicholas Alahverdian in court last October. Of course he had a reason; he was fleeing after his life was threatened by elected officials in Rhode Island. He refused to name them in open court.
Still with a mask and a wheelchair and denying all charges of course. As of January he was still to go on trial for two counts of rape in Utah. His legal team having been unable to reach a plea deal.

Goodness knows what his 'wife' here makes of it all. She's certainly been made to look foolish.

Whoooahhhh. That's massive news. Thanks for the update!

Dead, apparently.

(He infamously faked his death before)

You’d want to double check a few times though!

It's been reported he did have some sort of degenerative disease and that he recently started refusing treatment leading to his death. He'd been found guilty in two separate rape trials and was to serve at the very minimum 10 years and possibly life. He was a repulsive and yet fascinating character, goodness knows what a psychologist would have made of him. It's not difficult to imagine he refused treatment to retain some control in his life. You have to wonder where his British wife has been in all this.
