Some people have one more step than others depending if they have a scalloped bottom or not.

But hopefully many more tablecloths will see the light of day on the beach because of this

I think my problem is that these will not be used. They don't have time to make a finished garment, they aren't fitting them to themselves or anyone else. They won't be worn. They won't be handed on. I will bet they go in the bin at the end of the series and that is depressing

But you could say the same for all those unfinished skirts in week one. That's not just a specific issue with this task

I bet the average charity shop won’t turn up ones as nice as some of these though.

I don't disagree with you but I suspect at least some will be used I think - they are a very loose fit so will be OK on a lot of people. I would happily wear them (if they were longer - hate this current fashion!)
