I feel sorry for Olly. His performance was much better than the results are showing.

I thought it was a bad performance tbh, and in any case the jury marked the performance from yesterday, not the one tonight

CelesteCunningham · 11/05/2024 23:21

Liked Switzerland. I'd say they'll do well with the public, it'd be a good winner.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 11/05/2024 23:21

Austrian juror making his point

Surprised by portugal being fourth

She had a great voice and the song wasn't bad - I doubt she will do as well in the public vote.

pinkdays · 11/05/2024 23:21

Shit up

pinkdays · 11/05/2024 23:22

Sorry, shut up

Am I right in thinking that the juries voted yesterday? They played a video of the Dutch entry for it as he was under investigation at the time?

Yes, I think they did a jury performance. Graham Norton said the French guy's voice went awry during his performance, so it's impressive that he's done so well so far.

Justcallmebebes · 11/05/2024 23:22

What the fuck is going on???!!

RedToothBrush · 11/05/2024 23:22

PrincessScarlett · 11/05/2024 23:21

I don't get why the Dutch vote is still included 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because they are in the EBU. And paid their entry fee.

Not really; his voice was the only one very clearly out of tune, and the set staging of a filthy toilet simply wasn’t attractive.

Herbusyness · 11/05/2024 23:21

Someone else picked up on the fact Swiss singer looks like Lee Mead!

Took me a while but I got there in the end 😂

AutumnCrow · 11/05/2024 23:22

Choux · 11/05/2024 23:18

@AutumnCrow Switzerland are going to have a 300 point lead over Israel at the end of the jury vote. Israel won't make that up as Switzerland also likely to be popular with the public.

I need to pay more attention! Thank you - makes sense.

NotJohnMajor · 11/05/2024 23:22

Elton John has moved to Finland.

OublietteBravo · 11/05/2024 23:22

Norway doing really badly with the juries

TokyoSushi · 11/05/2024 23:22

Yes, the old way meant I learned words like Royaume-Uni as a teenager!

BirthdayRainbow · 11/05/2024 23:23

4 more points for UK

Norway doing really badly with the juries

Surprising.

memoriesofamiga · 11/05/2024 23:23

I cannot understand how the juries can give more votes to Olly than Finland and Estonia. Those were my top two songs and his performance was awful.

LardoBurrows · 11/05/2024 23:23

Raahh · 11/05/2024 23:21

I used to love it when they read ALL the scores
In English and French.
.Grin

Yep me too, I feel a bit short changed now.

Agree, his voice was weak. The Italian woman who came on next had an amazingly strong, clear and beautiful voice in contrast.

OublietteBravo · 11/05/2024 23:23

C’mon Portugal

mactire · 11/05/2024 23:24

I love these little coded speeches we are getting from the announcers.

HeathenPlayingHouse · 11/05/2024 23:24

Broke the code?

pinkdays · 11/05/2024 23:24

I'm watching on iPlayer and slightly behind the rest of you

RedToothBrush · 11/05/2024 23:24

Dutch TV. When Austria gave their points and talked a about everyone being treated equally - the Dutch Commentator went live on TV "except Joost Klein".
