Italy "accidentally" revealed their semi final votes the other day - 40pc voted for Israel. The second placed country received 7pc. It's not a real vote, it's bots.

Actually now I'm listening a second time the Switzerland song has depth and is catchy. Somehow I missed it the first time.

Yes, I thought Croatia deserved it. I don't think Olly was the worst act, by any means. I'm not sure if the rest of the world thought he was or if the UK is just really, really unpopular!

I'm glad we Brits didn't give our public 12 to Switzerland; Israel's performance though not my pick was miles better than the Swiss rubbish.

Switzerland were deserving winners, not sure why so many people on hear think it was a fix. The british public voting for Israel clearly didn't like seeing a young woman being booed and given death threats for appearing in a singing competition.

I seem to recall one stage where they had the public votes and they added all the votes that had been given to different points onto the board and lots of countries would be swapping positions.

This way is prob deemed to be more tense or something.

The winner is truly bloody terrible-I'm sorry but what a tuneless pile of shit - it may be in a fashionable 'style' but no wonder I'm no longer interested in a lot of music today

Eurovision has been used as a propoganda tool by Netenyahu, and she is old enough to know that. The Israeli delegation have by all accounts behaved appallingly during the contest- baiting other contestants, insulting other acts- both things would have got any other country kicked out. Abusing British or all Jews for what Israel is doing is obviously anti semitic. But objecting to Israel is just that. Objecting to Israel and their behaviour.

I had hoped Switzerland would win from watching the semis. V catchy.

I also don't think Russia should be excluded - God knows the shit show of a UK government and their behaviour doesn't represent me or my views and I'd hate to be banned from something because it was assumed they did.

Eurovision are hypocrites for banning Russia but not genocidal Israel.
