Gutted - Croatia deserved the win. Nothing special about Switzerland. And nul points from the public for Olly was harsh; there were far worse songs tonight.

What would be wrong with Israel winning? The act and song were amazing and she’s overcome a lot already being censored

I thought the UK had said in advance that they would host on behalf of Ukraine, as they were the nailed on winners.

The British generally don't like people, who arent in positions of power, being bullied.

That and the echo chamber of social media and all the noisy protests give the illusion to those who hate Israel that everyone else does too.

This event is supposed to be about people putting divisions aside and celebrating, bit some angry toddlers are incapable of that.

Croatia was completely robbed.

Surely the only message should be that most people in the UK thought that the song from Israel was the best?

I agree in principle, but logistically it would be tough.

To be fair, Sam's song was far superior to Olly's. And he has a really good voice. Olly's song is OK and his voice is OK, but Sam is the better (and more natural - and talented) singer. Sam can write songs too.

Olly is fine, but it's like comparing apples and pears. Sam is way more talented (musically) than Olly.

I think Israel getting so much public votes may have cost Croatia.

Because they are currently engaged in genocide of the Palestinians and if I had my way, they’d have been entirely barred from the competition.
