I have finally worked out what it is that particularly annoys me about Phil - its a nasty little smirk when anyone else is having a tough time and the shiftiness in a lot of the interactions.

Tre’s rapping is about as good as his business plan

Yes - very similar even to the point it was all made by some third party, except they were well up and running with the business and already trading; and similar points made by the Dragons about lack of clinical evidence.

Phil - if Suralan is just going to pick already successful businesses, the whole thing becomes pointless. He might as well just buy himself £250k worth of shares in Sainsbury's.

Not surprised that Tre's buisness wasn't up to scratch. He's great, but it always sounded a bit hazy.
A shame that Flo's gone but recruitment is a bit hit and miss.
Another shame about Paul's business. He grew on me a lot in the second half of the series.

I can't believe Phil's wriggled through when after all those losses, he's sketchy on the details of its finances.

Yes, and his eyes don't always match the rest of his expression.

He's there on other's weaknesses, not his strengths.

He was the only one who didn't look really nervous in the board room, despite having no reason to be confident after the interviews.

If he wins I'll be convinced its fixed from the beginning and that makes me wonder about the previous winners.

Wasn't the issue with that other business that it wasn't up front and clear what the arrangement was?
